<br />WILL AND DECREE:
<br />The Last Will of Michael Kroeger,
<br />1, Michael Kroeger, make this my last will, hereby revoking all former wills.
<br />I appoint my wife Christine executrix of this will and ask that she be permitted to act without
<br />bond.
<br />To my wife Christine I give, devise and bequeath all my property, that which I may die seized of
<br />and that to which I may be entitled, both real and personal, for her use and benifit during her
<br />natural life and at her death to go as hereinafter provided.
<br />Provided however that any notes which I may have given me by my daughter Caroline and her husband
<br />Otto secured by real estate mortgage shall be held by her as a part of my estate, the interest of
<br />which shall go to my wife for her own use, but the note or notes and mortgages securing the same
<br />shall remain a part of ray estate and at my wife's death shall go with the "balance of my estate as
<br />hereinafter provided.
<br />To my son Herman I devise the No,th East quarter of section thirty two (32) in township ten (10)
<br />North of range Nine (9), also Lots four (4) and five (5) on Mainland in section twenty nine (29)
<br />township ten (10) North of range nine (9) also twenty three (23) acres on Mainland in the South East
<br />of South East uarter
<br />QuarterAof sectiT.)n twenty five (25) In township ten (10) North of range ten (10) all West of the
<br />61, P.M. in Hall County, Nebraska, forever subject however to the life interest herein before given
<br />` "to my wife, subject also to the lien of four thousand dollars which my said son shall pay into my
<br />estate one year from the death of my wife, I hereby make said legacy a first lien upon said land
<br />and my said son shall not enter upon said land under this will until said encumbrance shall have
<br />• been first fully paid.
<br />To my daughter Caroline I give the sum or thirty five hundred dollars to be paid her one year after
<br />my wife's death.
<br />If uponec,-cease I shall leave notes of my said daughter amounting to said last . named sum or more,

<br />then Interest on thirty five hundred dollars shall stop the day my wife dies.
<br />All the rest, residue and remainder of my estate, both real and personal I give to my son August
<br />and to my dauphterAuguste, share and snare alike, and to their heirs forever.

<br />At a session of the county Court held at the County Court Room in Grand Island In said
<br />County, on the first day of May A.D.,1914, present J.H. Mullin, County Judge, In the matter of
<br />the estate of Ifichael Kroeger, deceased. I, X.H. Mullin,County Judge in and for said County, do
<br />hereby certify that on the first day of May A.D., 1914, the Instrument purporting to be the last
<br />will and testatment of Michael Kroeger, deceased, was filed for probate In this Court. That on
<br />the first day of May A.D., 1914, said instrument to which this Is attached was duly proved, probated
<br />and allowed as the last will and testament of the said Michael Kroeger, deceased, and the same
<br />was ordered to be recorded in the records of the Court aforesaid.
<br />In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and the seal of the said Count, Court this first
<br />day of May, A.D. 1914.
