<br />I, John S.Hedges, of Shelton, Nebraska, being of lawful age, and sound and disposing mind
<br />do hereby make and declare this to be my last will and testament,and I do hereby revoke all
<br />other and previous gills by me hitherto made.
<br />First. I direct that all my just debts and funeral expenses shal_ be paid out of my personal
<br />property.
<br />Second. I bequeath to my sister I,Frs. Mary K.Sargent of Roscoe, Illinois, the sum of One
<br />Thousand dollars.

<br />Seventh. I give and bequeath to my mother- in- law,.Trs. Emma Brownell, of Bannister,

<br />Eighth. I give and bequeath to Thomas A.Hanvey, of Bannister, `.Iichigan, the sum of Five
<br />Hundred dollars.
<br />.Tinth. I give and bequeath to Henry F.Hanvey of Buffalo,N.Y. the sum of Five Hundred
<br />dollars.
<br />Tenth. I give and bequeath to Charles TI.?`'allace , of Shelton, Nebraska, the sum of Seven
<br />?hundred and Eighty Dollars, on condition that he assist my executor,hereinafter named, in
<br />settling up my estate.
<br />Eleventh. I direct that if at the time of my death,any of the above mentioned devisees

<br />are indebted to me ,that the legacies to them remain unpaid until said indebtedness is paid.
<br />Twelfth. I give and bequeath to my beloved daughter Bertha L. Hedges,all the bank stock
<br />now owned by me and in addition thereto the sum of Two Thousand Dollars, and in case I should

<br />have disposed of my bank stock or of any part thereof,before my death, I give and bequeath to

<br />her a sufficient amount of money to make the bequest to her equal the sum of Five Thousand
<br />Dollars said pror.erty so.bequeathed to be held in trust for my said daughter,until she reaches
<br />the age of Twenty one years, by my wife Lettie 'R.Hedges,1rhom I hereby ap oint her guardian
