<br />{ The Court finds that the said Detlef Hinrich Christer. was the owner of Lot Nine (9) in Block
<br />Sixty -nine, Row 12, in Evergreen Cemetery, Loup City, Sherman County, Nebraska; that same was
<br />not disposed of by his will and therefore descends to his legal heirs, Catharina Westphal and j
<br />:aria Hintz.
<br />The Court finds that the cash bequests provided for in the will have been paid
<br />and satisfied as shown by receipts and vouchers on file and that the executor has accounted
<br />for all of the estate which came to his possessior� and that there remains nothing in his hands
<br />for distribution. The Court finds that the testator sometimes signed his name Detlef Christen
<br />and that Detlef Christen and Detlef Hinrich Christen were one and the same person.

<br />I Detlef Hinrich Christen of Grand Island Hall County and State of Yebrask% do hereby
<br />make, publish and declare this to be my' 'Last. Will and Testament, to-wit:
<br />1. I order my Executor herein after named, to nay all my just debts and funeral expenses,
<br />elmidiatly after my desease.
<br />2. I give, devise and bequeath to my beloved daughter latharina, the wife of Heinrich
<br />Westphal, the sum of Two thousand (?2000.00) Dollars.
<br />3. I give, device and bequeath to my beloved daughter Maria, the wife of Fritz Hintz, the
<br />Simi of Two thousand (`2000.00) Dollars.
<br />4. I give, devise and bequeath to Gustav Westphal, the son of my said daughter Catharina,
<br />my house and lot with all apraurtt4n4Vt&sbe long ir_g thereto, said lot described as follows, to -wit:
<br />Fractional lot Five (5) in Block Five (5) Bonnie Brae Addition to Grand Island Nebraska and
<br />Fractional lot Five (5) in Fractional Flock Twenty -two (2112) Wallich's Addition to Grand Island
<br />Nebraska, as both Additions are laid out platted and recorded, upon the following conditions
<br />however: viz: the said Gustav Westphal shall pay unto his mother Catharina, ti -.e wife of
<br />Heinrich Westphal, thG regmired amount of money to fu:ly pay the amount of Two thousand(k2000.
<br />Ou) Dollars, as given and bequeathed in the -foregoing, in case that the amount of money I may
<br />leave at the time of my death .hall not be sufficient to cover the bequeathals herein made.
<br />5. I further decree, tl.,:at in case of the prerfiature death of my beloved daughters Catharina
<br />and Maria, car either of them, the money given and bequeathed to them, shall go to their respect -
<br />ive children in equal parts.
<br />G. I further decree, that all money that I may have, or that may be coming to me, over and
<br />besides the amount as stipulated in the foregoing, after my decease, shall be divided in equal
<br />shares between my said beloved daughters, Catharina and Maria.
<br />7. I hereby nominate, constitute and appoint Heinrich Schumacher the sole Executor cf this
<br />my last Will and Testament without requiring said Heinrich Schumacher to give a Bond as such.

<br />Cne thousand nine hundred and eight, 1908.
