<br />Will and Decree.:
<br />Know all men by these presents that I. T.F.Stegeman, of Pella, Marion County, -
<br />& State of Iowa, being in the full exercise of a sound and disposing mind and memory do hereby
<br />rrake, publish and declare this to be my last will and testament, hereby revoking all former
<br />wills made by me or under my direction.
<br />1st. I give bequeath and devise unto my beloved wife Catharine Stegeman the whole of my
<br />estate so -real as personal ( after payment of all my just debts) for her personal use and
<br />benefit without any reservation whatever so long as she remains my widow.
<br />2nd :- If my wife the aforesaid Catharine Stegeman, should contract a marriage after my
<br />decease, then she is to have only her dower in the Real and Personal Property of my estate,
<br />to -wit:- One third (1/3) thereof.
<br />3rd :- The remaining two thirds of ray estate shall be so administered that those portions
<br />thereof of which may be in money shall not b iminished but be put out at interest with good
<br />security and when my children shall have attained their majority it shall be equally divided
<br />amongst them share and share alike.
<br />4th: - I do hereby appoint the above named Catharine Stegeman Executrix of this my last will
<br />and testament. Waiving the necessity of giving bond or making inventory.
<br />In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand this 4th day of September 1886.

<br />We do hereby certify that the above Last Will and Testament was signed by the testator G.F.
<br />Stegeman in our presence of each of us, he being in the full exercise of a sound and disposing
<br />mind and memory and fully acquainted with the contents hereof declared the same to be his
<br />voluntary Last Will and Testament and we, at his request have hereunto set our hands as sub-
<br />scribing witnesses this 4th day of September 1886.

<br />G.F.Stegeman, deceased.
<br />Now on this 10th day of May, 1913, this cause came on to be heard upon the petition
<br />of H.D.Aikins, who is interested in said estate, and the property thereof, for an allowance
<br />and probate of the last will of G.F.Stegeman, deceased, as a foreign will, and, it appearing
<br />from the proof on file herein, that due and legal notice, as by law and the orders of this
<br />Court required, has been given to all persons interested therein of //the I time and place for

<br />hearing said petition and no objections having been made thereto, the Court finds that the
<br />allegations made in said petition are true and that the prayer thereof should be granted.
<br />Said case, coming on further to be heard, upon the petition and the evidence in support
<br />thereof, and the Court being duly advised, finds: That the said C.F.Stegeman died, testate
<br />while a citizen and resident of Marion County, in Iowa, on the day of July, 1887; that he
<br />heft a last will and testament which was, on July 14th, 1887, duly filed in the District CoL?rt
<br />of Marion County, Iowa, which Court had jurisdiction for the probate of said will, and appli-
<br />cation was thereupon made for the due proof, allowance and probate of said will; that such
<br />proceedings were duly had and obtained thereunder that on August 30th, 1887, said will of said
<br />deceased, was, by said Court, duly proved, allowed and admitted to probate in said Court;
<br />that a copy of said will of said deceased, with the order of said Court admitting same to pro-
<br />bate, duly certified as by law provided, has been filed in this Court and presented by said
<br />Petitioner for allowance and probate herein as a foreign will.
<br />The Court further finds that said r.F.Stegeman died seized of the following described
<br />property situate in Hall County, Nebraska, upon which said will operated, to -wit:
