<br />IN THE NAhIE OF GOD , AMEN.
<br />I, Carl Schumann of in the County of Hall, State of- Nebraska, being of sound mind and memory
<br />and considering the uncertainty of this frail and transitory life, do therefore make, ordain
<br />1
<br />publish and declare this to be my last Will and Teatament:
<br />First, I order and direct that my Executor hereinafter named, pay all my just debts and
<br />funeral expenses as soon after my decease as conveniently may be.
<br />Second, After the payment of such funeral expenses and debts, I give, devise and bequeath
<br />unto My son Henry Schumann, the North East Quarter of the South East Quarter and the South East
<br />Quarter of the North East Quarter of Section Thirty -six (36) in Town Nine (9) North, Range Eleven
<br />(11) West of the 6th P.M. in Mall County, Nebraska.
<br />Third, I ,also give and bequeath unto said Henry Schumann any and all promissory notes or
<br />other evidencof indebtedness I may hold against him.
<br />Fourth I give devise and bequeath unto my four daughters Louisa Goudy, Sophia Oelschl-
<br />ager, Annie Rewerts and Clara Wynne, the West half of the South 'Test Quarter of Section Thirty-
<br />one (31) in Town Nine (9) North, Range Ten (10) West of the 6th P.M. in Hall County, Nebraska,
<br />each to have an ur:divided one - fourth interest.
<br />Fifth, I hereby give and bequeath unto ray son William Schumann, one certain note which I
<br />signed as suerty with him and which I have paid and which note is described as follows: one
<br />note dated January lst -1908 due on the first day of January 1909, face of note $650. payable
<br />to the order of the Prosser State Rank, signed W.H.Schumann and Carl Schumann.
<br />Sixth, I hereby give and bequeath unto my son Henry Schurann and my said four daughters to
<br />be divided equally between them share and share alike, one fifth to each, all the remainder of
<br />my personal estate.
<br />Lastly, I make, constitute and appoint Henry Schumann, my son, to be Executor of this my last
<br />Will and Testament, hereby revoking all former Will by me made.
<br />In Witness Whereof, I have hereunto subscribed my name and affixed my seal the 29th day
<br />of April in the year of our Lord, one thousand nine hundred and ten.

<br />said testator Carl Schumann to be his last Will and Testament, in the presence of us who at his
<br />request, have subscribed our names thereto as witnesses, in his presence, and in the presence
<br />of each other.

<br />Hall County ( At a session of the County Court held at the County Court Room in
<br />Grand Island, in said County, on the 23" day of February A.D.1911, Present J.H.Mullin, County
<br />Judge. In the matter of the estate of Carl Schumann, deceased. I, J.H.Mullin, County Judge
<br />in and for said County, do hereby certify that on the 30" day of January A.D.1911, the instrument
<br />purporting to be the last will and testament of Carl Schumann, deceased, was filed for probate
<br />in this Court. That on the 23" day of February A.D.1911, said instrument to which this is
<br />attached was duly proved, probated, and allowed as the last will and testament of the said Carl
<br />Schumann, deceased, and the sane was ordered to be recorded in the records of the court aforesaid.
<br />In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and the seal of the said County Court this
<br />23" day of February A.D.1911.
