<br />In the name of God, Amen. I Joachim Buenz, of the City of Grand Island, in the County of
<br />Hall, and State of Nebr ask% considering the uncertainty of this mortal life and being of sound
<br />mind and memory, blessed be Almighty God for the same, do make and publish this, my last will
<br />and testament, in manner and form following, that is to say:
<br />First.
<br />I direct that my funeral charges, the expenses of administering my estate and all my debts be „
<br />paid out of my personal property, and if-there is not sufficient personal property, I authorize
<br />my executor hereinafter named to sell so much of my real estate, as may be necessary for that.
<br />purpose.
<br />Second.
<br />I give and bequeath unto my beloved wife Caroline Buenz, all real estate and all personal
<br />property left after paying as directed-in above section, No First, that I may die possessed of,
<br />to have and to hold to her during her natural life, and then to my beloved daughter Augusta
<br />Buenz she being our only born child is' at the death of my beloved wife, Caroline Buenz, to have
<br />all real estate and Personal Property left to her to have and to hold and to her assigns, forever
<br />However at my death my executor is to pay the sum of Five & no /100 D0111wa to my beloved daughter
<br />Augusta Buenz and the sum of Five & no /100 to each of my step children viz, Five Dollars to
<br />Ernst Hoppe, Five Dollars to Willie Hoppe and Five Dollars to Caroline Hoppe, now Marquardt,
<br />out of my estate.
<br />Third.
<br />Should my beloved wife Caroline Buenz die befor_me, then I give devise and bequeath all the
<br />real estate and personal property left after paying as foregoing directed, that I may die pons -
<br />eased of to my beloved daughter Augusta Buenz, to have and to hold to her and to her assigns
<br />forever.
<br />Foth.
<br />I give devise and bequeath all the residue of my estate I may die possessed of after paying
<br />as foregoing directed to my beloved wife during her natural life, and then to my beloved daug-
<br />hter Augusta Buenz.
<br />Fifth.
<br />I appoint my friend Johann Oltmann executor of this my last will and testament hereby
<br />revoking all former wills by me made.
