<br />IN THE COUNTY COURT OF HALL COUNTY, NEBRASKA.
<br />In the Matter of the estate of
<br />Lucian M.Hodges, deceased. FINAL DECREE.
<br />Ndw on this 25th day of April 1911 this cause came on for hearing upon the final
<br />report of .Carrie B.Hodges, Administratrix of the estate of Lucian M.Hodges, deceased, and it
<br />appearing that notice has been given to all persons interested in the estate of said deceased
<br />of the filing of said report, and of the time and place fixed for the hearing thereon, as requ-
<br />ired by law and the order of court dated April 12, 1911, and no one appearing to object to or
<br />protest against the allowance of said account, whereupon the court proceeded to examine said repo
<br />rt. After a. thorough examination, the court being fully advised in the premises, it is found:
<br />That the report of the administratrix is correct in all respects and ought to be approved.
<br />That said administratiix has accounted for all of said estate which came into her hands;
<br />That she has received from all sources the sum of $15,966.56, including the Ely mortgage;
<br />That she has paid out for debts, expenses of administration and for the support of her family
<br />pending administration, the sum of $ ,211.55;
<br />That the balance $9274.01, has been paid to and distributed among the heirs according to law
<br />and in the manner following:
<br />To Carrie B.Hodges, widow of the deceased, 1/3 part thereof, $3091.34, and to Lloyd Hodges,
<br />Minnie K.Bly, Melvin Hodges, Blanche Hodges and Elmer Hodges, his children, the remaining 2/3
<br />part thereof in equal shares, that is to say to each the sum of $1236.53 these payments being
<br />shown by the receipts of the heirs filed in this office.
<br />It is therefore ORDERED, ADJUDGED AND DECREED that the report of Carrie B.Hodges, Adminis-
<br />tratrix, be and the same hereby is approved and allowed as and for her final sopoutt and she is
<br />discharged of her t rust .
<br />The court finds that notice was given to all persons by posting and by publication, as required-
<br />by order of court, of the time allowed and place appointed for filing claims against the estate
<br />of the said deceased; that the time limited for presenting claims has fully expired; that all
<br />claims filed and allowed against said estate have been fully paid and satisfied; that all claims
<br />and demands outstanding against said estate and not filed, if any there be, are therefore forever
<br />barred and excluded.
<br />It is therefore by the court considered and adjudged that all persons are forever barred from
<br />filing or setting up any claims against the estate of Lucian M.Hodges, deceased. and the same is
<br />fully closed and settled.
<br />The court finds that the said Lucian M.Hodges departed this life on the 14th day of February
<br />1910, that he died intestate, and that he left surviving him as his heirs at law, and his only
<br />heirs at law, the following named Persons: CARRIE B.HODGES, his widow,; and MINNIE BLY, his
<br />daughter, LIOYD HODGES, his son, MELVi,N HODGES, his son, BLANCHE HODGES, his daughter, and
<br />ELMER HODGES, his son, and that he left no other child or children and no issue of a deceased
<br />child.
<br />The court finds that the said Lucian U.Hodges, deceased was at the time of his death the
<br />owner of the following described real estate, situate in the County of Hall and State of Nebraska
<br />to- grit;- The South West Quarter (S.W.J) of Section 36, in Township 10 in Range 12, and that
<br />this was the homestead of the intestate and his family during his lifetime and at the time of
<br />his death; The South half of the South East Quarter ( S.J of S.E.J) of Section 2, in Township
<br />9, in Range 12; The East half of the Notth W, eet Quarter (E.J of N.W. J) , the East half of
<br />r
<br />the South Test Quarter (E.- ofeS.W. J), Lot 2 on Island, all in Section � in Township 9, in
<br />Range 11, and the South East Quarter (S.E.}) of Section 85 in Township 10, in Range 12, and
<br />that under the law of descent of the State of Nebraska, all of said real estate did pass and
<br />descend at the death of the said Lucian M.Hodges in the manner following:
