<br />LAST WILL AND TESTAMENT OF HENRY SCHIMMER.
<br />In the namd of God, Amen, I., Henry Schimmer, of the County of Hall and State of Nebraska,
<br />considering the uncertainty of this mortal life, and being of sound mind and memory, blessed be
<br />God for the same, do make and publish this my last will amd testament, in manner and form follow
<br />ing, which is to say:-
<br />First: I direct that my funeral charges, the expenses of administering my estate and
<br />all my debts be paid out of my personal property. If that be insufficient, I authorize my exe-
<br />cutor,hereinafter named, to sell so much of my real estate as may be necessary for that purpose.
<br />Second: I give and bequeath to my beloved wife,Cristine Schimmer, all the cash money,
<br />all my household furniture, and all the rest of my personal property., after paying therefrom
<br />the above mentioned items to be hers forever.
<br />Third:- I give to my son August the Southeast Quarter of the Northeast Quarter ($E � NE �)
<br />and the Northeast Quarter of the Southeast Quarter ' ( NE � SE 1 and the North . Half of the North -
<br />east Quarter ( N j NE � ) , all in Section Twenty -four ( 24) Township Eleven (11), Range Nine (9)
<br />in Hall County, Nebraska, containing 160 acres.
<br />Fourth: I give to my son Henry Lots One, Two and Three ( 1, 2 and 3) and the Southeast
<br />Quarter of the Southeast Quarter (SE � SE }, all in S ction Twenty -nine (29) Township E even (11)
<br />Range Eight (8), in Hamilton County, Nebraska, containing 172 acres.
<br />Fifth: I give to my son Otto the Southeast Quarter of the Northwest Quarter (SE )
<br />and the West Half of the Northeast Quarter ( Wj NE ) of the Notthwest Quarter ( N4. *) and the

<br />South Half of the West Half of the Southwest Quarter (S j W j u and five acres all along the
<br />east side of the North Half of the West Half of the Southwest Q-.iarter ( NJWJ SV4) all in Section
<br />Thirty -five (35). Township Eleven (11) , Range Nine (9) , and the Southeast Quarter of the South-
<br />west Quarter (SE SW µ ) in Section Thirty -sis (36) , Township Eleven (11) , Range Nine (9) in Hall
<br />County, Nebraska, containing 145 acres.
<br />Sixth: I give to my son Berny the North Half of the Southeast Quarter ( NJ SE� ) in
<br />Section Thirty -four (34) Township :eleven (11) Range Nine (9) and the North Half of the West Half
<br />of the Southwest Quarter, excep-r the five acmes given to my son "Otto, in Section Thirty- five(35)
<br />Township Eleven (11) Rahge Nine (9),and the South Half (j) of Lots Two and Three ( 2 and 3 ) in
<br />Section One (1) Township Ten, RangeNine (9) in Hall County, Nebraska, containing 143,5 /100 acres

<br />my death.
<br />N 6`. The rest of this $ 9500.00,or $6000.00 to be paid to my daughters named, Emma,Adele,
<br />and Minnie, each $2000.00 after the death of my beloved wife Christine Schimmer.
<br />If my wife dies.before me,I give the $2000. insurance I have in the A.O.TT.W.to my daughters
<br />Emma, Adele and Minnie to be equally divided.
<br />Seventh: I hereby give the custody of my infant son Berny, during his minority,to my be-
<br />loved wife, Christine Schimmer. And I hereby appoint my said wife Christine Schimmer to be
<br />the guardian of my said infant son.
<br />I hereby appoint my beloved wife Christine Schimmer the sole Executor of this my last will
<br />and testament.
<br />In testimony whereof I hereunto set my hand and seal, and publish said decree, this to be my
<br />last will and testament, in presence of the witnesses named below, this 26th day of November in
<br />the year of our Lord One Thousand Nine hundred and six.
