<br />Now on this 22nd day of December, 1909, this cause came on for
<br />hearing upon the petition of Joseph R. Kingman, Executor, for the probate of an instrument pur-
<br />porting to be the Last ,'ill and Testament of Carrie C. Woods, late of Hennepin County, State of
<br />Minnesota, deceased, it appearing to the satisfaction of the Court from the proof now o -n file
<br />that all persons interested in the estate of said Carrie C. Woods have been duly notified by
<br />publication of the filing of said petition and will, and of the time and place appointed for
<br />the hearing thereon, as required by the order of court dated November 270 1909, and there being
<br />no objection or protest on file. Whereupon a duly authenticated cony of said last will and test -1
<br />ament of Carrie C. 'foods and of the probate thereof in the Probate Court of the County of Hennepin
<br />in the State of Minnesota, was produced in evidence and R. R. Ftorth was sworn and examined.
<br />On consideration whereof the Court finds that said Carrie C. 'foods departed this life in
<br />December, 1908, leaving a Last Will and Testament which was duly admitted to probate in the Pro-
<br />bate Court of Hennepin County, State of Minnesota, on the 16th day of December, 1908, and that
<br />said Carrie C. Moods was at the time of her death the owner of real estate in Hall County,
<br />Nebraska, upon which said will operates, and that said will should therefore be allowed and
<br />admitted to probate in this Court as a Foreign Will, and that said real estate is as follows:
<br />Lots 1, 22 4 & 5 in Block 14, in Charles Wasmer +s Addition to the City of Grand Island.
<br />It is therefore, by the Court, Ordered, Adjudged and Considered that said Will was duly
<br />executed by the said Carrie C. Woods according to law,that the same is genuine and valid, that it
<br />operates on real estate, in Hall County, Nebraska, and that said Foreign. Will be admitted to
<br />probate and established as the Last Will and Testament of Carrie C. Woods, deceased, and the
<br />same be recorded in this office. It is further ordered that Letters Testamentary issue thereon
<br />to Joseph R. Kingman of Minneapolis, Minnesota, the Executor named in said Will, upon his filing
<br />in this office his bond in the sum of One Hundred Dollars with surety to be approved by me.

<br />I, Carrie C. Woods, of Minneapolis, Hennepin County, Minnesota, being of lawful age and of
<br />sound mind and memory, do make, publish and declare this my last Will and Testament, in words and
<br />manner following, that is to say:
<br />I.
<br />I direct my Executor hereinafter named to pay all my debts, funeral expenses and expenses
<br />of administration out of my estate.
<br />II.
<br />I direct my Executor hereinafter named to pay to Lakewood Cemetery Association. of Hennepin
<br />County, Minnesota, the sum of Three Hundred 0300 00) Dollars to be used for the perpetual care
<br />of my lot in Lakewood Cemetery.
<br />III.
<br />I give, devise and bequeath to my brother, N. Eugene Rice of Sudbury, Mass., and nay niece
<br />Carrie H. Nutter of Minneapolis, Minnesota, or the survivor, all my wearing apparel, hatches,
<br />jewelry, books, pictures, furniture and other household effects. lly purpose in making this be-
<br />quest to my said brother and to my said niece is that my said personal effects in this subdivi-
<br />sion described may be distributed by them, or the survivor of them, to certain of my relatives
<br />pursuant to certain informal instructions v:hich I shall give them and which I feel sure they
<br />will faithfully carry out.
