<br />IN THE NAME OF GOD. AMEN. I, Peter Stuhr, of the City of Grand Island, Hall County, Nebraska,
<br />being of sound mind and memory (blessed be Almighty Good for the same); do make and publish
<br />this my last will and testament.
<br />I give and bequeath unto my beloved wife, Anna, the use, improvement and income of all the
<br />lands and their appurtenances of which I shall die seized and possessed, to have and to lhold
<br />the same for and during her natural life, and as long as she,my said beloved wife Anna remains
<br />unmarried. 1

<br />It is my will, and I order and direct that at the death of my said beloved wife Anna, all
<br />the Real Estate of which I shall die seized and possessed shall be divided in equal shares be-
<br />tween my two children, Altalia Stuhr, and Leo Stuhr, their respective heirs and assigns to be
<br />theirs forever.
<br />It is also m will and I order and direct that in case
<br />Y , , my said beloved wife, Anna shall
<br />marry again, from the date of her marriage she shall come into possession of one equal one -third

<br />of all the Real Estate of which I shall die seized and possessed to have and to hold the same
<br />to her, and to her heirs and assigns forever, and that each of my two above named children
<br />Altalia Stuhr and Leo Stuhr, receive one equal one -third of all the Real Estate of which I shalll

<br />die seized and possessed to have and to hold the same to them respectively and to their re-
<br />spective heirs and assigns forever.
<br />I give, devise and bequeath to my beloved wife, Anna, all my rersonal property of which I
<br />shall die seized and possessed, or to which I shall be entitled at the time of decease, to have

<br />and to hold the same to her and to her heirs, executors, administrators and assigns, forever.
<br />And I order and direct that my said beloved wife, Anne properly care for the necessary
<br />wants of my two children Altalia Stuhr and Leo Stuhr until'each of them becomes of age, or until
<br />either of them marry; and that she pay to each of my said children Altalia Stuhr and Leo Stuhr
<br />respectively at the time they become of age, or if,they or any of them marry sooner,on the day
<br />of their respective marriage the -sum of Five Hundred Dollars out of the proceeds of the per -
<br />sonal property of which I shall die seized and possessed.
<br />I do nominate and appoint my beloved wife, Anna to be the sole executrix of this my last will'
<br />and testament.
<br />I do nominate and appoint Cdr. Henry D. Vieths of Grand Island, Hall County, State of Nebraska
<br />to be the guardian of my two children Altalia Stuhr and Leo Stuhr until they become of legal age.
<br />In testimony whereof, I hereunto set my hand and seal, and publish and decree this to be
<br />my last will and testament, in presence of the witnesses named below, this 4th day of February,
<br />in the year of our Lord One Thousand eight hundred and eighty -nine.
