<br />I, Charles F. Bentley, a resident of Grand Island, Hall County, 3,14ebraska, being of s o un (_1
<br />mind and mei,,'.,ory do hereby make and publish the following as and to be my Last Will and Test art-,ent:
<br />First: I hereby direct that my Executrix shall complete the repairs, inrorovements and re-
<br />furnishing with now carets, furniture and decorations of my home on the corner of Second and
<br />T
<br />Cleburn Streets, in Grand Island, '1,,,ebraska., fully completing the same in every way as she may
<br />y
<br />deem iiost desirable, and that all of the expense thereof shall be paid for out of the general
<br />funds of my estate.
<br />Second. I give, devise and bequeath unto my dear wife, Angeline Alice Bentley, my home fully
<br />completed and remodelled as set out in the preceding paragraph, to have and to hold the same
<br />during the term of her natural life wit bout impeachment for westC. The fee title to the same
<br />to vest in my three children hereinafter named.
<br />Third. I further give, devise and bequeath to my beloved wife my library, pictures and
<br />furniture and all personal property used in and about my house, together with that to be rur-
<br />chased under section one hereof, including any driving horse or carriages I may die possessed of
<br />subject only to this li.-,-,dtation, to-wit: I direct my wife to select such articles of personal
<br />use or inheritance or lon-f continued possession as may be considered desirable as keepsakes and
<br />divide the same between her: elf, my children and my grandchildren to be considered by them as
<br />tokens of remembrance frorti me. The intention being that my wife shall inherit outright all
<br />personal chattels hereinabove mentioned exceT)tir-g those she may distribute under the directions i
<br />above, and that she Shall have only a life interest in the residence property.
<br />Fourth. I further give, devise and
<br />bequeath unto
<br />Angeline Alice Bentley of Grand island,
<br />Nebraska, as trustee, all of the shares
<br />of bank stock
<br />of which I may die possessed, of the first
<br />National Bank of Grand Island, The Bank
<br />of Donirhan,
<br />and the Cairo State Bank, with full power
<br />to her to vote the said shares or depute
<br />the right to
<br />vote said shares as the rules of the
<br />respective banks may perriit, to collect the dividends thereon, to sell the same or any part
<br />thereof at her discretion, at such times., and ul)on such terms and in such manner as to her shall
<br />seem meet and - roper, and to have such powers and to perform, all other acts and duties as may
<br />by law be permitted. I further direct that none of said property hereby conveyed to said
<br />trustee shall be subject to any debts of the beneficiary, nor shall any beneficiary be perr,.ittedi
<br />or allowed to in any wise encumber his share either of the capital or the income to be received
<br />from said trust or cive orders in advance on said trustee, or put any charge or lien upon the
<br />same during the tii.nc that the title to the same vests in said trustee.
<br />I hereby direct said trustee to distribute all funds derived from dividends upon said
<br />stock or derived from the sale of all or any part.thereof, between my dear wife, Angeline Alice
<br />Bentley, and my dear children Arthur Fisher Bentley, Frederick Bentley, and Grace Bentley Paine,
<br />in such proportions as is 1.-,rovided by the law of Nebraska for the distribution of personal
<br />property of intestates. I direct that at the end of ten years from the date of my death, my

<br />trustee shall distribute any shares of stock of said banks which shall remain in trust at that
<br />time, between my wife and my descendants in such proportions as they i%rould take under the laws
<br />of Nebraska in case I had died intestate.
<br />That at any time all of said -roperty in the hands of the trustee is disposed of, or at
<br />the end of ten years after my death, the trustee shall close up said trust as herein directed.
<br />It is my will that said 'trustee shall not be required to give any bond for the performance of
<br />any of the duties of said trust, and that said trust is to be regarded as a personal family
<br />trust and no re,,-)ort thereof is to be made to any court, unless requested by some one interested i'n
<br />said trust. And further that in case of the death of said trust the probate court shall not
