<br />advances to such child and of the income or my estate as its condition will warrant,and as they
<br />may deem wise and prudent, Such advances.shal.l not exceed the sum of Five Hundred Dollars to am
<br />one child and the amount so advanced shall be deducted from the amount coming to such child,at
<br />the final distribution of my estate,as provided for in article Seventh hereof.
<br />Item Ninth :- The restrictions on the distribution of my estate do not apply to my life insur-
<br />ance which shall be divided as soon after my decease as may be,among my children,share and share
<br />alike,but shall only be paid to each child on attaining majority,and during the minority of any
<br />child,its share with all accretions shall be invested in real estate mortgage security by my
<br />executors until such child shall attain majority.
<br />Item Tenth :- I hereby nominate and appoint my eldest son Adolph H. Held and my Friend,Charles
<br />F.Bentley,to be executors of this my last, will and Testament and request that they be not requix
<br />ed to give Bonds and that neither shall at any time,be held to an* r for the neglect or default
<br />of the other,or of any substitute for either,that may be at any time appo-inted by the Courtin
<br />the event,that either shall neglect to qualify or cease to act for any cause. It is also my
<br />wish that no bonds shall be required of my daughter Minnie Held,as guardian of the persons of
<br />my minor children. Item Eleventh :- I hereby revoke and annul all former wills by me made.
<br />In testimony whereof,I, Herman Conrad Held,commonly known as H.C. Held have hereunto set my
<br />hand this 21st.day of June A.D.1897,and have and do hereby declare the above and - "oregoing,
<br />consisting of five written pages,upon each page of which I have subscribed my name,upon the
<br />margin,to be my last Will and Testament.
