<br /> WHEREAS, St. Paul's English Evangelical Lutheran Church of
<br /> Grand Island, Nebraska, a corporation organized under the laws of
<br /> the State of Nebraska, is the same and identical corporation as
<br /> St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church of Grand Island, Nebraska,
<br /> and is a single church which is incorporated as an entity and is
<br /> legally independent of any superior denomination, organization, or
<br /> authority; and
<br /> WHEREAS, Rev. Harvey Clarkis the duly elected, qualified and
<br /> acting pastor of this church and E. N. Roe and Basil Fritz are the
<br /> duly elected, qualified and acting elders, and Harvey Rehder and
<br /> Peter Merton are the du1X elected, qualified and acting deacons;
<br /> and
<br /> WHEREAS, the following are the duly elected, qualified and
<br /> acting trustees of this religious association, to-wit: Rev. Harvey
<br /> Clark, H. L. "Bill" Barge, Don Ewoldt, Basil Fritz, Fred Heins,
<br /> John Hoeft, Jr. , Don Holst, William Horstman, Earl Larson, Peter
<br /> Merten, Elmer Rauert, Harvey Rehder and E. N. Roe; and
<br /> WHEREAS, notice was given of the special meeting to pass upon
<br /> the sale of the said property herein described, in the manner and
<br /> form provided by law, and at the time and place fixed for passing upon
<br /> said motion there was adopted unanimously by all those voting thereon
<br /> a resolution authorizing said sale and instructing the said Trustees ,
<br /> on behalf of this reliUious association, to convey the said pre-
<br /> mises to the purchaser by good and sufficient warranty deed, all
<br /> as per the certificate of the Secretary of this religious associa-
<br /> tion filed in the office of the Register of Deeds of Hall County,
<br /> Nebraska, herewith;
<br /> NOW, THEREFORE, we, as the duly elected, qualified and aci.ing
<br /> Trustees of St. Paul's Evangelical English Lutheran Church, a cor-
<br /> poration organized and existing under and by virtue of the laws
<br /> of the State of Nebraska, in consideration of the sum of THIRTY
<br /> FIVE THOUSAND DOLLARS, cash in hand paid, receipt whereof is hereby
<br /> acknowledged, received from the grantee, do grant, bargain, sell,
<br /> convey and confirm unto A. W. HEDGECOCK, herein called the grantee,
<br /> the following described real estate in Grand Island, Hall County,
<br /> Nebraska, to-wit:
<br /> � Lots One (1) and Two (2) , B1ock Eighty-three (83)
<br /> Original Town, now City of Grand Island, Nebraska.
<br /> To have and to hold the above described premises together with
<br /> all tenements, hereditaments and appurtenances thereto belonging
<br /> unto the grantee and to grantee's heirs and assigns forever.
<br /> And the grantor for itself and its successors does hereby
<br /> covenant with the grantee and with grantee 's heirs and assigns
<br /> that grantor is lawfully seised of said premises; that they are
<br /> free from encumbrances; that grantor has good right and lawful
