<br /> That she and her previous husband, John Campbell owned Lot Five (5) in Block Eight (8) in Bonnie Brae Addition
<br /> to the City of Grand Island, Hall County, Nebraska by conveyan ce from the Equitable Building and Loan
<br /> Association of Grand Island, 1V'ebraska, as shown by deed recorded in Book 89 Page 84 in the Office of the
<br /> Register of Deeds of Hall County, Nebraska.
<br /> Affiant further says that said property was conveyed to herself and the said John Campbell July 6, 1945 as
<br /> joint tenants with right of survivorship in the surviving grantee; that the said John Campbell was deeeased
<br /> on the 21st day of January, 1949, in Hall County, Nebraska; that affiant is the surviving grantee and the
<br /> owner of the above described property.
<br /> Affiant further says that at the time of death of the said John Campbell on January 21, 1949, he o�ned no
<br /> personal property of value and the above described property was the only real estate in which he had an
<br /> interest at the time of his death; that the valuation of said real estate at the time of his death was
<br /> $5,200.
<br /> Affiant further says that both she and her said deceased husba.nd on the aforesaid date of July 6, 1945 were
<br /> citizens of the State of Nebraska, and of the United Stated of America and were over the age of 21 years;
<br /> that they have an unbroken chain of title to the entire interest in themselves, and their irnmediate and
<br /> remote gra.ntors under deeds of conveyance which have been recorded for a period of twenty,two (22) years
<br /> or longer as reflected by the recorded deeds in the Office of the Register of Deeds of Hall County,
<br /> Nebraska pertaining to said real estate; that the said aff iant is in possession of said real estate to -
<br /> gether with her presen�' hushand, Elmer H. Palmer.

<br /> This agreement made and entered into this 28 day of April, 1952, by and between Carolyn Neidfelt and
<br /> Billie Marie Lund, parties of the f irst part and Harry Markle, party of the second part, witnesseth:
<br /> Parties of the first part are the awners of a tract of land described as a part of Lot 1w►enty-five (25)
<br /> Matthews Sub-division being a part of the Northwest Quarter of Section Twenty--seven (27) Township Eleven
<br /> (11), Range Nine (9), Hall County, Nebraska, upon which is located a gravel and sand pit, and parties of the
<br /> first part do herebp lease unto the party of the second part said gravel and sand pit together with free
<br /> ac�ess thereto and therefrom, until the first day of June, 1952, and, in consideration of the covenants here-
<br /> ir►after contained, second parties is hereby given the option to continne with the lease of said gravel and
<br /> sand pit until the last day of December, 1952, prnvided second party advise first parties of the exercise
<br /> of said option, said notice to be in writing and given to either of the first parties on or bef ore the
<br /> expiration of this lease, and in leasing said gravel and sand pit, it is understood that all equipment na+r
<br /> on the tract of land so leased, together with the right to use the same and which includes Truck, tractor,
<br /> pump, biny and any other equipment now used in the operation of said pit.
<br /> The statement contained in the second paragraph that Billie Marie Lund is the awner of any part of the
<br /> tract described is not the fact, It is true, hawever, that both parties of the first part are to share
<br /> :equally in any returns from this contract, and the statemtnt made therein that Billie Marie Lund was an
<br /> awner was made only f or the purpose of indicating that Billie Marie Lund shared in the returns from the contrac�.
