<br /> KNOW ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENTS; That we, the undersigned David Alexander and Margaret G. Alexander,
<br /> Husband and Wife, each in his and her own right, of Grand Island, County of Ha11,State of Nebraska for and
<br /> in consideration of SEVEN THOUSAND FIVE HUNDRED AA'D NO/100 - - - - - DOLLARS, to us as a loan in hand paid
<br /> by UNION NATIONAL LIFE INSURANCE COMPANY of Lincoln, in the County of Lancaster and State of Nebraska; and
<br /> other good and valuable consideration, the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged, do hereby assign,
<br /> transfer, and set over to UNION NATIONAL LIFE INSURANCE COMPANY as collateral security for said loan, f or
<br /> so long as said loan or any part thereof remains unpaid, the rents and revenue accruing for the period of
<br /> the duration of the loan above mentioned, upon the following described property situated in County of Hall,
<br /> State of Nebraska, to-wit:

<br /> West of the Sixth (6th) Principal Meridian, Hall County, Nebraska.
<br /> And we hereby authorize and empower UNION NATIONAL LIFE INSURANCE COMPANY to act for us, and rent the �
<br /> above described premises or any part thereof, and in our place collect and receipt for said rent, either '
<br /> monthly, quarterly or yearly, as it may see fit, and in default of the payment of said rent or any part
<br /> thereof to proceed in its own name by suit or suits at law for the recovery thereof in such manner as it
<br /> shall deem fit.
<br /> This assignment of rent is being made for the express purpose of having the rent collected hereunder �V
<br /> applied to payments of principal, interest and fines on the loan of $7,500.00 above described, as agreed by �
<br /> us to be paid in the real estate mortgage on the property above described securing said loan. �
<br /> Said Assignee may, in its discretion, use the rents so far as necessary for the purpose of making such �
<br /> repairs upon the premises as, in� its judgment, may be proper and may use said rents so far as necessary for �
<br /> the payment of insurance premiums and taxes upon said premises, or any other papments to be made by us under
<br /> the terms of the mortgage above mentioned, the balance to be applied upon the payment of monthly dues,
<br /> interest and fines on said certificate and loan.
<br /> This assignment and transfer of rents and revenue to be absolute to the extent of the total of the pay-
<br /> ments above mentioned from and after this date.
