<br /> KNOW ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENTS, That the undersigned, HOME OWNERSf LOANII CORPORATION, a corporate
<br /> instrumentality of the United States of America, hereinafter called the Assignor, for and in consideration of
<br /> the sum of One ($1.00) Dollar, and other good and valuable consideration, the receipt whereof is hereby ac-
<br /> knowledged, does hereby sell, set over, transfer, and assign to FIRST FEDERAL SAVINCS AND LOAN ASSOCIATION of
<br /> DAVENPORT, a corporation organized and existing under the la�rs of the United States of America, havings its
<br /> principal place of business at the South East corner of Third and Main Streets, in the City of Davenport,
<br /> Countq of Scott and State of Iowa, hereinafter called the Assi�nee, all of the Assignorts right, title, and
<br /> interest in and to tha.t certain contract of sale dated the 5th day of October, 1938, wherein and whereby the
<br /> Assignor, as Seller, agreed to sell, and LLOYD W. KELLY AND VERA KELLY, husband and wife, agreed to bup the
<br /> following described real estate locat�d in the City of Grand Island, County of Hall, and State of Nebraska;
<br /> The Northerly Si�cty (60) feet of Lot Five (5), in Block Eighty-seven (87) of the Original Town,
<br /> now City of Grand Island, Nebraska, as the same is surveyed, platted and recorded, being a tract
<br /> of ground having a wester].q frontage of Siucty (60) feet on Cedar Street and depth of Sixty-six
<br /> (66) feet. All in Hall County, Nebraska.
<br /> for the total sum and purchase price of Three Thousand Siic Hundred Fifty and 00/100 (�3,650.00) Dollars,
<br /> together with all unpaid sums of money due and to become due to the undersigned under the terms of said
<br /> contract, and together with all of the right, title, and interest of the undersigned in and to said real
<br /> property.
<br /> THIS ASSIGNMENT is made without recourse to HOME OWNERSt LOAN CORPORATION, and is sub3ect to the right
<br /> of any person liable for the payment of the debt evidenced by the said contract of sal� to discharge such
<br /> indebtedness in whole or in part with bonds of the HOME OWNERS� LOAN CORPORATION at their face value. Anp-
<br /> thing in the said contract of sale, any extension or modification thereof, and this assignment to the con-
<br /> trarp notwithstanding, the Assignee herein, its snccessors and assigns, shall not demand or be entitled to
<br /> collect interest on the assigned debt at a rate in excess of four and one-half percent per annum.
<br /> THE ASSIGNEE herein hereby accepts the within assignment and ,agrees to be bound by all of the terms,
<br /> provisions, and conditions of said contract, and as such .4ssignee covenants aad agrees to perform all of the
<br /> covenants, conditions, and agreements of said contract that are bindin� upon and are to be done and performed
<br /> by the Assignor herein.
<br /> IN WITNESS WHEREOF, HOME OWNERSt LOAN CORPORATION has caused this instrament to be executed by its
<br /> proper officer and its corporate seal attached.
