<br /> : of the plaintiff, and trle files in the case, and tne Court having examined the same, finds
<br /> ` that the defendant is in defaul� and his default is hereby duly entered herein.
<br /> This cause then came on for trial, the plaintiff being present in open Court arrl.
<br /> represented by her attorney and the defendant being present 3.n open Court and r�presented
<br /> by his at�orney; evidence was introduced on b-ehalf" of' the plaintiff and duly corroborat�d,
<br /> and evidence :��ras introduced by and on behalf of tize defendant, said cause wa5 submitted
<br /> to the Court and the Court being fuily advised in �he premises finds generally for the
<br /> plaintiff� ���lat the plain�iff and defendant WET'E,' married at Palmer, N�braska, on March
<br /> 26th, 19�� and two children, to-�rit :
<br /> James Str3.ker, was born October 16th, 19��, at Ord, Nebraska, and Violet S�riker,
<br /> was born, January 22nd, 19�6, at Hastings, Nebraska, to said marriage.
<br /> The Court further f3.nds that the plaintiff and d�fendanf,s have been r�siden�s of
<br /> Nebraska, for more �han two years last past and the cauge of ac'tion.arose in Nebraska,
<br /> th�.t the defendant has been guil�y of extrer�e�, cruelty a:� alleg�d and plaintiff should be
<br /> �ranted a Deeree of d�.vorce and custody of tne minor children.
<br /> The Court further finds that the �laintiff during said ma.rriage was tre recipient
<br /> of eer�ain work r�ns Compensation payment s from the death of her forrner husband and the
<br /> recipien� of certain suppor� money paymen�s on account of �, child by a former husband and
<br /> most of this money has gone into the family income; that �he family as a unit accumulated
<br /> cer�ain funds, a11 of th� sav?ngs of which have been invested in Lot Six and the West Six
<br /> feet of' Lot Seven, a1.1. in Block Twelve, Arno�d & Abbott' s Addition to the City of Grand
<br /> Is3and, Nebras�a, sub�ject to a mortgage to _�the Equitable Building and Loan Aesociation,
<br /> and certain nougehold furni�ure and a 1937, Model, V-8 Ford Tudor Sedan; that the _plaintiff
<br /> ti�ras th� ot�rr�er of a �.931 Mode1 '�A'� Ford prior ta the marriage; that said real estate should
<br /> be awarded to the plaintiff in lieu of alimony and sup_�ort -money and the defendant should
<br /> �e required �o 'pay ;�he furtn�r sum of Twenty dol.lars per month for the sup,>ort of the
<br /> minor children; that the plaintiff �l�ould be ati�rarded �he household Purniture and the
<br /> defendan'� the farnily au�omobile and the plaintiff �ne car s}ze oti�med prior to the marriage.
<br /> IT IS THEREFORE ORDERED, ADJUDGED AND DECR.EED �Y THE COURT, that the plaintiff be
<br /> awarded a Decree of absolute divorce from the defendant, custody of the minor. children,
<br /> James Striker and V3.olet Striker; that title to Lot Six and the West Six feet of Lot Seven,
<br /> all in Block Twelve, Arnold & Abbot�' s Addition to the City of Grand Is�and, Nebraska, be
<br /> quie�ed in the plaintiff in li�u of alimony and as partial pay n�n� of support money for
<br /> the tti�ro said minors; tnat the tit3e to the household furn�.ture and the 1931 Model. "A" Ford
<br /> car be quieted in the plaintiff, that title to the 3937 Ford V-8 �udor Sedan be quie�ed in
<br /> �he defendant; that the de�'endant b� required to pay tne further sum of Tti,renty Dollars per
<br /> month, into the oifice of the C�erk of the District Court of Hal.l County, Nebraska,for �he
<br /> aupport, m��.intainance .�.nd education of the minor ch�.ldren of the plaintiff and dePendan�,
<br /> the first payment to ae made on the 15th day of March, 1950; and the next one on the lst
<br /> day of Ar�ri1, i95o, and mon�hly thereaf'Ger on the lst day of each month until the younges�
<br /> chil.d a��ains the age o� sixteen years or until the further order of the Court, with the
<br /> right of the defendant to visit the ��,ro minor children at suitable times and places; tha�
<br /> an attorneys fe� �n the sum of fi�'�y do].1ars 'ae taxed as costs against the defendant for
<br /> plaintiff s attorney; that this Decree shall ��ot beeome final until sa.x months from date
<br /> hereof, to wit : September lOth, 19�0 except for pur�oses of a?����eal; that the costs of
<br /> this action be taxed agains� the defendan�.
