<br /> SECTION 1. Tha.t the real property de9cribed as: a tract of land containing .036 acre
<br /> more or less particularly deseribed as follows: Beginning at a p�int on the east line af
<br /> Vine Street said point being 19.1 feet south of the intersection of the east lina of Vine
<br /> 3treet �,nd the Soutr: right-of-way line of the Chicago, Burlington and Quincy Belt Line,
<br /> tnence east para11e1 to the south line of Lot Three �3) , Koehler suUdivision a distance of
<br /> 10�F.9 feet, thence southwest a distance of 10�.7 feet to a point on the east line of Vine
<br /> Street, thenes north along the east line of Vine S�reet a distance of 30.0 feet to the point
<br /> of beginnin�;, a.11 in the City of Gr�.nd Island, Hall County, Nebraska, be and the sa.me is
<br /> hereby appropriated for the use of the City of Grand Island for street purposes, under and
<br /> b,y virtue of Sections 16-610, 16-602 and 16-603 of the Revised Statutes of Nebraska for
<br /> the year of 19�+3, ana Section Nine (9) , of Artic3.e Two (2), of the Home Rule Ch�,rter of the
<br /> City of Gran� Island.
<br /> -2- SECTION 2. That the following disinterested freeholders in the C3.ty of Grand Island,
<br /> Nebr�.ska, �re herPby appointed �o assess the damages aecruing to the owner or owners of the
<br /> real estate and rights �,ppropriated:

<br /> C. E. Grundy �215 �4est Koenig Street
<br /> Bert Phillips 507. ��les'� Tenth Street
<br /> who shall receive as compensation for their gEx'V�.C@S the sum of Five ��5.00) Dollars per
<br /> day for the time necessa.rily occupied in asse5sin� said damages. Said assessors shall mee'G
<br /> in tre Council Chamber of the City H�,11 in said City of Grand Island, on the 2�th day of
<br /> July, 1947, at the nour of 2 o � clock P. M. , and after ta,king oath to discharge their duties
<br /> faithfully and im�artially shall on the same day, or as soon thereafter a� practical make,
<br /> sign and return to the City Clerk in writing a ,�us� and fair appraisement of the� dama.ges
<br /> for the lots and pieces of property, the whole or part of which or rights in which are to
<br /> be appropria.ted. �
<br /> SECTION 3. Payrnent of the damages for the appropriation of said private property shall
<br /> be pa3d out of the Incidental Fund of the City of Grand Island, Nebraska.
<br /> SECTION �. That this ordinance shall be in force and take effeet from and after its
<br /> passage, approval and publication as provided by law.
