<br /> acquainted with Fred H. Schufft who was grantee in a Quit Claim Deed from Carrie R. Ashton,
<br /> a single woman, to Lot Nine (9) , in Bloek Ten (10) , in Ashton Place, an Addition to the
<br /> City of Grand Island, Ha11 County, Nebraska, said deed being dated and acknowledged on
<br /> July 28, 193g, and filed for reeord on December 7 , 1939, inBook 8�., Page 2, oP the Deed
<br /> Records of Hall County, Nebraska; that he was well and personally acquainted with Fred H.
<br /> Sehuff, who was gr�ntee �in a Quit Clalm Deed from Carrie R, Ashton, Executrix of the Estate
<br /> of Fred W. Ash�on, deceased, to the property above described, dated and acknowledged on
<br /> Ju1y 28, 1939, and filed for record on December 7, 1939, in Book 81, Page 3, of the Deed
<br /> Records of HaI1 County, Nebraska; �hat he was well and peraonally aaquainted with Fred H.
<br /> Schuff, a single man, one of the defendants in the Sixteen'�h Cause o�' Aa�ion in Case No.
<br /> 10255 , ApAearanae Docket 36, Page 236, the same being a Petition in Equity to foreclose
<br /> tax liens brought by th� County of Hall in the Dietrict Court of Hall County, Nebraeka,
<br /> in which the said Fred H. Schuff, a single man, entered hfs �oluntary Appearancse and si�ned
<br /> said Voluntary Appearance as F. H. Schuff; that affiant posi�ively knows of his own personal
<br /> knowledge that the said Fred H. Sehuff, in each of the �wo above mentioned deeds, and the
<br /> said Fred H. Schuff, a sir�l� man, in the above mentioned Voluntary Appearance, who signed
<br /> same as "F. H. Sehuff" , is one in the same individual; that the said Fred H. Schuff, also
<br /> known as F. H. Schuff, was a brother of affiant and that affiant witnessed his �i�na�ure
<br /> in said Volun�ary Appearance; that the said Fred H. 5chuff was also sometimes known as
<br /> Frederick H. Schuff; and tha� the said Fred H. Schuff, F. H. Sahuff and Frederick H.
<br /> SchuPf was one and the same indiv�.dual, notwithatanding the discrepancy in names, and tha�
<br /> he was a aingle man on the date of said Voluntary Appearance, namsly, on August 9, 19�5•
