<br /> the Geddes Funeral Home, af Grand IsZand, Nebraska and has been eng�,ged in said business
<br /> in Grand Island, during the past 32 yeaxs; �hat he was peraonally acquainted with Lottie
<br /> K. Stowitts and Merrille �4towitts, her daagther, to whom Pauline Woodruff and R. C. Wood-
<br /> ruff, her husband, conveyed by quit claim deed on March 13, lg�-5, Lots � and 9, in West
<br /> Lawn, a,n Addition to the City of Grand Island, Hall County, Nebra$ka; as �oint tenants with
<br /> righ� of survivorship and not as tena�ts in cornmon, which d�ed is reeorded in Book �6, on
<br /> Page 6b6, of the Deed Reeor ds oY Hall County, Nebraska; that he has known �he said Lottie
<br /> K. Stow3.tts and Merrille Stowi'tts, her dau�hter, for more than 30 years; that the said �
<br /> Lottie K. Stowitts died on October 31, 19�7, and was buried in the Grand Island cemetery
<br /> on November 3, �g�7; that he, as a mortician, supervised the preparation for and burial of
<br /> her body.,.
<br /> This affidavit is made for the purpose of e�tablishing title to said lots in the
<br /> survivor, Merrille Stowitts.

<br /> In consideratior� of the Nebraska Loan & Trust Company, Grand Island, Nebraska, making
<br /> a loan to me�us, the undersi�ned, in the sum oP �2,000.00, which is to be 8ecured b9 a
<br /> First Mortgage on the �'ol�owing described r�a1 estate: Lot Ten (10� , of "Isla.nd Acres'�,
<br /> being �, subdivision of Part o� the �Jest Half of the Southwest Quarter (W�SW�) of Seetion
<br /> Eight (�), in Townahip Eleven (11) , North, oP Range N�.ne (9) and pa,rt oP Fractional Lot
