<br /> lished for three consecutive weeks in the Grand Island Daily Independent, a net,rsp�.per
<br /> published in �,nd of' g;enera.l circulation in the City of Grand Island, Nebraska, immediately
<br /> after the p�,ssage and publicati�n of this ordinance; and �he City Clerk is hereby directed
<br /> and instructed to nrenare anc� r�ublish said notice.
<br /> SECTI�N 4. Authority is hereby granted to the electors of the City of Grand Island,
<br /> Nebraska, to file a remonstrance against the sale of the within. described real estate; and
<br /> if a remonstranc-e against such sale signed by legal electors of said City equal in number of
<br /> Thirt� percent (30'�) of the electors of the City af Grand Islanc�, voting at the last regular
<br /> election held in said City be filed witn the T�ayor and City Council within thirty (30)
<br /> days after the passage and public�tion of this ordinance, such property shall not then nor
<br /> within one year there�fter be sold. �
<br /> SECTION 5. The sale of said real estate is hereby directed, authoriZed and confirmed;
<br /> and if no remonstrance be fi.led against such sale, the F1�ayor and City Clerk shall make,
<br /> execute �.nd deliver to Grand Island SaPe Denosit Comnany, a Quit Claim Deed for said
<br /> prouerty anc� the execution of said Desd is hereby authorized without further a.ction on
<br /> behalf of the City Council.
<br /> SECTI�N 6. This ordinance shall be in force and take effect from and after ita passage,
<br /> approval and publication as provided by law.
