<br /> S+�hereas, in order to properly uae and maintain said Buechler Park as enlarged, it is
<br /> to the best interest that that part of Arthur Street and that part of gaid alley herein
<br /> described be nacated and be incorporated in and made a part of said Bueehler Park.
<br /> THERFF'ORE� BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL OF �'HE CITY OF GRAND ISLAND,
<br /> NEBRASKA:
<br /> SECTION 1. That that part of Arthur Street lying between �he south line of First S�reet
<br /> and the north line of Division Street be and the same is hereby va.cated.
<br /> SECTION 2. That the west one hundred six (146) feet of Fractional Block Twenty-three
<br /> �23) , Baker� s Addition to the sa3d City of Grand Island be and the sa.me is hereby vacated.
<br /> SECTION 3. That that part of said Arthur Street and that part of sald alley so vacated
<br /> are hereby ordered incorporated in and made a part of said Bueehler Park.
<br /> This ordinance shall be in force and take effet from and after its passage, anproval
<br /> and publication as provided by law.

<br /> An ordinance vaeating the East one hundred thir�y-two (132) feet of the a11ey in Block
<br /> Forty-two (�2) , of the Original Town, r�ow the City of Gra rr1 Is1Qn.d, Hall County, Nebraska,
<br /> and providing that that part of said alley so vaeated shall be the property of and belong to
<br /> the City oP Grand Island:,� Nebraska.
<br /> Whereas, the City o�' G�re�nd Ieland owns and operates its municipal light and ower plant
<br /> on '�he r�al estate lying directl south of the East one Hundred thirty-two (132� feet of
<br /> �he alley in Block Forty-two (�V2�, of t?ze Original Town, now the City of Grand Island, and
<br /> WHEREAS, it is neceasary that the City enlarge its said municipal 11ght and power plant
<br /> and for tnat purpose the said City has eQndemne8 and appropriated for ita own use a portion
<br /> of Lota One (l� , and Two (2) , in said Block Forty-two (�2) lying directly north oP eaid a].ley
<br /> in said block for such expansion and enlar�ement, and in ma.king said improvement it will be
<br /> � necessary that the City oceupy and build upon that part of the alley herein vacated.
<br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GRAND ISLAND,

<br /> 3ECTION 1. That the east one hundred thir�y-�wo (132) feet of the alley lying in Block
<br /> Forty-two (4�2) , of the Original To�rn, now the City of Grand Island, Hall County, Nebraska,
