<br /> 1. (a) The lands hereinafter described are taken under a.nd in accordance with the Act of
<br /> Congress ap�roved February 26, 1931 t46 Stat. 1�+21; 40 U. S.C. sec. 25�a) and acts supT�le-
<br /> mentary thereto �.nd amendatory thereof, and un�ler the further authority of the Act of Con-
<br /> gress apj�roved Au�ust 1� 1�90 �26 Stat. 316) as �,mended by the Acts of Congress approved
<br /> July 2 1 17 ��+0 Stat. 2�+1) , April 11, 191� ��+0 Stat. 51�; 50 U. �. C. see. 171), and March
<br /> 27, 19�2 �Public Law 507 - 77th �ongress) , which acts authorize the acquisition of larld
<br /> for military or. other war purposes, and the Act of Congress approved July 2, 1942 (Pul�lic
<br /> Law 649 - 77th Congress) , �hich act appropriated funds for such purposes.
<br /> (b) The public uses for t�hich said lands are taken are as follows: The said lands
<br /> a.re neeessary adequately to provide for the enlargement o� an air corns station �.nd for
<br /> rela.ted milit�ry Uurposes. The said l�.nds have been. selected by me Por aequisition by the
<br /> United St�.tes for use in connectlon with the establishment of the Grand Island Satellite
<br /> Airfield,. Nebra.sk��, and for such other uses as may be authori2ed by Congress or by Executive
<br /> Order, and are required for immediate use. �
<br /> 2. A general descri�tion of tne lands being taken is set forth in Schedule '�A" attached
<br /> hereto and m�de a p�.rt hereof �nd is a description of part of the same lancls described in
<br /> the petition in the above-entitled cause.
<br /> � 3. The estatP taken for said public uses is the full f ee simple title. thereto, sub,�ect,
<br /> however, to existing easements for T�ublic roads and highTrays, for public utilities, for
<br /> railroads and for pipe lines.
<br /> 4. A pl�,n sho��rin� the lands taken is annexed hereto as Schedule '�H'� and made a Ua.rt
<br /> _
<br /> hereof.
<br /> 5. The sum estimated by me as ,�ust compensation for sa.id land, �aith all buildin�s and
<br /> imnrovements ther?on and all appurtenances thereto, and including any and all interests
<br /> herepy taken in said lands, . is set fortn in Schedule ��A�� herein, which sum I cause to be
<br /> de�osited herewit�l in the Registry of said Court for tne uge �.nd benefit of the persons
<br /> entitled thereto. I am of the opinion tha.t the ultimate a�aard for said l�nds will probably
<br /> be T�rithin any limits prescribed by law as the �rice to be pa,id therefor.
