<br /> �. The aovernment does not undertake to furnlsh any insurance of �.ny nature wh�,tsoever
<br /> on the Premises f�r ttle benef�t of the Legsor o� to ��ay any premiums therefor. If, however,
<br /> the possP�si�n �.n� use of the Premi�es by the Governm�nt is �eopardized by the failure of
<br /> the LP�sor to protect the Premises by ade�uate insur�nce, or to protect the interests of
<br /> an;� party having a mortga_ge or other lien ut�on or interest in the Premises, tile Government
<br /> may �'u�^nlsh or ��ay for such insurance a� it ma.y determine to be necessary, in which event
<br /> the premium or nrPmiums paid by the Government sha11 be deductPd from the atipulated net
<br /> renta.l payable herPUnder to the Lessor. In the event of �oss, the Government shall have
<br /> the rl�ht, at its ontion, to a�z�ly any insurance proaeeds available to the Lessor or to

<br /> I,essor. Uj�on th? surrender of the Premises by the Government, it shall redecorate and/or

<br /> 10. 'Nthenever the whole of s�id prQmlges or any essentla.l �art thereof shall be des-
<br /> troyed by �.ny cause �ahatsoever, tl�e Governmen� has the ri�ht and privilege to rebuild,
<br /> restr�re, or rep�ir said Premises or elect to terininate the lease. In the event of election
<br /> to termin��te tnis lease, tlle Government sh�.11 give notice in writing of intention to term-
<br /> inate to the Lessor ��ithin sixty t60) days af�ter such destruction, in �ahole or in any
<br /> essential nart, and the installment of rent pay�ble for the ?�eriod durin� tahich the termina-
<br /> tion occurs ���:a1T be proratPd.
<br /> 11. The Government m��.y terminate thi5 lea�e ��t any tirne during the term thereof by
<br /> giving to the Lessor thirty (30) d�;�s' written natice of such intention to terminate. In

<br /> 12. The Government may assign or sublet all or any part o� tlle PremisPS to tenants,
<br /> occu�ants, or other persons whom it may select, �nd �uch a�si�nees or sublessees shall
<br /> have such of thP rights �ranted to t�e aovernmPnt under this 7.e�.se �.s t��e Governme��t m�,y
<br /> grant t� such assignee or sublessees.
<br /> 13. The Lessor m�.y put up "For Rent�i signs fifteen �15) da.ys prior to tlle terminatlon
<br /> by the Government o�' its tenaricy.
<br /> 14. The Lessor with the intention th�.t thP Government shall rely thereon �,nd fo_r the
<br /> purnose of inducing the Government to enter into t111s le�.se represents, states, covenants,
