<br /> 16. The Lesaor expressly covenants and agrees to deliuQr possession of the premises to
<br /> the Government free of occupar�y by any tenant or any other person on or before the first
<br /> day of th? term of this lease.
<br /> 17. This lease shall be binding upon the Lessor, his (her) ( its) ( their) heirs, executora,
<br /> administrators, grantees, successors, and assigns.
<br /> 1�. No Member oP or Dele�ate to thP Congress or Resident Commissioner shall be admitted
<br /> to any share or part of this contract or agreement, or to any benePit to arise thereupon.
<br /> 19. Nottaithstanding any provisions of. this lease to the contrary, it is agreed and under-
<br /> stood between the Government and the Lessor that the Gover,iment will not make any payments
<br /> outlined in any. paragraph hereof until the Lessor deliveres to the Government full z�ossession
<br /> of the Premises in the same condition as said Premises were in at the time of execution of
<br /> this lease. It is further agreed and understood bet?aeen the Government and the Lessor that
<br /> the Government will not assume to make any such payments i� the Lessor breaches his covenant
<br /> set forth in paragraph 16 hereof to dellver �ossession of the Premises on or before the Pirst
<br /> da.y of the term as specified in paragraph 2 hereof.

<br /> demised Premises, which interest is required to be such as will insure to the Government,
<br /> upon its making all payments P�r �iich it is obligated unc�er this lease, undisturbed pos-
<br /> session of tne Premises for a period of not less than seven �7) years.
<br /> '�f Schedule here all mortgages, liens, encumbrances, easements, encroachments, rights-of-way,
<br /> r?strictive covenants, zonin� regulations, and any defects in title whatsoever.
<br /> 24. The Lessor warrants that he ( she� ( it) (they) has�have not em�loyed any person to
<br /> solicit or secure this lease upon any agreement for a commission, percentage, brokerage, or
<br /> contin;ent fee. Breach of this �aarranty shall give the Government the right to annul this
<br /> lease or in its discretion to deduct fr�,m any �.mount payable to the Lessor t"r�e sum of such
<br /> commission, percentage, brokerage, or contingent fees. Thls warranty shall not apply to
<br /> � commission� payable by the Lessnr upon contracts made through bona fide established com-
<br /> merci�.l or sellin� or renta.l ag�:nciea m�aintained by the Lessor for the purpose of securing
<br /> business. �
<br /> 21. It is a�reed that thi� lease embodies the whole agreement of the parties, and that
<br /> there ar. e no promises, terms, conditions, or obligations referring to the sub,�ect matter
<br /> other th��n those contained herein.
