<br /> I, Henry L. Stimson, �ecretary of �ar of the United St�.tes, do hereby declare that:
<br /> 1. �a) The �.ands hereinafter described are taken under and in accordance with the Aat
<br /> of Congress approved February ,�6, 1931 (46 stat. 142I, 40 U. S. C. sec. 25�a) , and aete
<br /> supplementary thereto and amendatory thereoY, and under the fur'ChPr authority of the Act
<br /> oP Congress approved Au ust 1�, 1890 �26 �tat. j16}, as amended by the Acts of Congresa
<br /> approved July 2, 1917 �� Stat. 2�-1) , and April 11, 191� (40 Stat. 51�, 50 iJ. 8. C. aec.
<br /> 171) , which Act authorizEB the acquisi�ion oP land for milltary purpo�es, and the Act oP
<br /> Congress approved April 5, 1941 (P�ablic Law 29-77th Congress), which �ct appropriated
<br /> Punds tor such purposes.
<br /> (b) The public uses for which said lands are taken are as follows: The said l�.nds are
<br /> necessary adequately to provide for an ordnance munitiona plant, and for other milttary
<br /> purposes incident thereto. The said lands have been selected by m�- Por acquisiti$n by
<br /> the United 3tates for uae in connection with the eatablishment of the Cornhusker rdnance
<br /> Plant, Grand Island, Nebraska, and Por such other usea as may be authoriZed by� �ongreas or
<br /> by Executive order, and are required for immediate use.
<br /> 2. A gs�eral description oP the lande being taken is set forth in Schedule "A" attached
<br /> hereto and made a pa.rt hereoP and is a description of part of the same lands descrlbed in
<br /> the petition in the above-entitled cause. �
<br /> 3. The estate taken Por said public use� is the �ull f ee simple title thereto, eubJect
<br /> however, to existing eas�ments for pu'�lic roads and highways, for public utilitiea, for
<br /> railroads and for pipe lines.
<br /> �. A plan shoT�ing the landa is annexed hereto as Schedule "B" and made a part hereof.
<br /> 5. The sum estimated by me as 3uat Qompensation Por said land, with all buildings and
<br /> improvements thereon and all appurtenancea thereto, and including any and all interests
<br />' hereby taken in said lands, is set forth in Schedule "A� herein, which sum I cavae to be
