<br /> 1. (a) The landa hereinafter deacribed are taken under and in accordance with the Act oP
<br /> Congress ap�roved February 26, 1931 (46 Stat. 1421, 40 U. S. C. sec.25�a�, and aeta aup-
<br /> plementary thereto and amendatory thereof, and under the further authori�y of the Act of
<br /> Congress a,pproved August 1�, 1�90 (26 Btat. 316) , as amended by the Aets of Congress
<br /> approved July 2, 1917 (40 Sta.t. 241) , and April 11, 191� (40 Stat. 51�, 50 U. 9. C. sec.
<br /> 171), whieh Act authorizes the aequisition� of land for military purposes, and the Act ot
<br /> Congress approved April 5, 194�1 (Public Law 29 - 77th Congress) , which Act appropr3ated
<br /> Punds Por -sueh purposee.
<br /> (b) The public uses for which said lands are taken are as �ollows:
<br /> The said lands are necessary adequately to provide for an ordnance munitions plant, and
<br /> for other military purposes incident thereto. The said lands have been seleated by me
<br /> for �,cquisition by the United States for use in oonnection with the establiehment oP the
<br /> Corn �:husker Ordn�nce Plant, Grand Island, �ebraska, and fol� such other uses aa may b�
<br /> authorized by Congress or by Executive order, aa�d are requ3.red for immediate use.
<br /> 2. A general description oP the lands being taken is set forth in 3chedule "A" attaohed
<br /> hereto and made a part hereoP and i� a description of part of the same lands described
<br /> in the petition in the above-entitled cause.
<br /> h. �'he estate taken Por said �ublic uses is the full Pee simple title thereto, sub�ject
<br /> o�+ever, to existing easements for publie roads and highways, for publie utilitiea, for
<br /> railroads and for pipe lines.
