<br /> Arthur C. Mayer being fir. st duly sworn upon his oatn deposes and say tnat he lives in
<br /> arand Island, Hall County, Nebras�ta, �ahere he has resides for more than 45 years last past,
<br /> that I am an At�orney at Law by profession, and ha.d char�e of the Julius Hunter estate in-
<br /> volving tne Southwest Quarter of Section 29, Township 11, Nortn, Range lO,West of the 6th
<br /> P. M. In Hall Count;j, Nebraska, and knew and was well acquainted with all of tne heirs
<br /> interested in said estate, one being Maude Boyntor�, formerly Maude Hunter, who was grantor
<br /> in a certain quit cl�,im deed dated December 4th, 1906 covering said premises to her mother,
<br /> which deed is recorded in Hook 37 at Page 523 of tile Deed Records of said Hall County.
<br /> I further swear that said Maude Boynton was at tnat �ime a married woman, living with
<br /> her nu��ba.nd, but ?aas temporarily in Hall �ounty at t�ie time said deed wa.s executed, visiting
<br /> ner mother a few weeks, less tn.an two months, and at no time since her marriage wnich took
<br /> place in the state of California ha.s sne been a resider�t of the State of �ebraska, or has
<br /> her nusband been a resident of the state of Nebraska, but at tne time said deed was exeduted
<br /> the said Maude Boynton and her husband resided in and k�ere residents of tne State of Califor-
<br /> nia, and at this time a.re residents of said State of California, and t�iat IxnoT.a of m�� o;an
<br /> personal knowledge th��.t sa.id premises never were the homestead of Ma.ude Boynton after said
<br /> marriage.

<br /> tne est<�.te of Julius Hunter, one of Tahom was Maude Boynton, formerly Maude Hunter, who was
<br /> grantor in a certain �uit-claim deed dated December 4th, 1906, covering said premises, to
<br /> her motner, ianich deed is recorded in Book 37, at Page 523 of the Deed Records of said
<br /> Hal1 County.
<br /> I f?�rtner swear tna.t said Maude Boynton was at tha.t time a married womai:, living with
<br /> her hu�'oand, but was tempora,rily in Ha11 County, <�t the time sa,id deed was executed,
<br /> visiting her mother a few weeks, less than two months, and at no time since her marriage
<br /> which toak place in the 5tate of California has sne been a. resident of the State of Ne-
<br /> bra.sk�, or ha.s her husband been a resident of the State of Nebraska, but at the time said
<br /> deed was executed, the said Maude Boynt^n and her husband resided in and were rPsidents
<br /> of the 5��.te of Ca.1i�'ornia, and at this time are residents of s3.id State of Ca.lifornia,
