<br /> upon like payments or tenders the commencement of a well may be furtTier deferred for like periods of the same number of months successively. All such payments or
<br /> tenclers of rentals may be made by check or draft of lessee or any assignee thereof, mailed or delivered on or before the rental paying date, either direct to lessor or assigns
<br /> or to said depository bank. And it is understood and agreed tliat the consideration f irst recited herein, the clown payment, covers not only tl�e privileges granted to the
<br /> date when said first rental is payable as aforesaid, but also t�e lessee's option of extencling that period as aforesaid, and any and all other rights conferretl.
<br /> Sh,ould the first well drilled on the above described Iand be a dry hole, tTien, and in that event,if a second well is not commencecl on saicl Iand witliin twelve months
<br /> from the expiration of the Iast rental period for whicl� rental has been paid, this lease sliall terminate as to both parties, unless the Iessee on or before the expiration of
<br /> saicl twelve months shall resume the payment of rentals in the same amount and in the same manner as hereinbefore provided. And it is agreed that upon the resump-
<br /> tion of t(�e payment of rentals, as above provided, tl�at the last preceding paragraph Tiereof, governing tl�e payment of rentals and the effect thereof, shall continue in
<br /> force just as though there had been no interruption in the rental payments. `

<br /> If the Iessee shall commence to drill a well within the term of this Iease or any extension thereof, the lessee sliall have the right to drill sucl� well to completion with
<br /> reasonable cliligence and d�spat�h, and if oil or gas, or either of them, be founc�in paying quantities, t�is lease s�all continue ancT be in force wit�i tjte lilze effect as if

<br /> If the estate of either party hereto is assignecl, anc� the privilege of assigning in whole or in part is expressly allocoed, tlie covenants {tereof shall extenct to their
