<br /> THAT, WHEREAS, in,an-s�tion in the District Court of the Eleventh
<br /> Judicial- Distrzct of the State�of Nebraska, within and £or the.County of Hall
<br /> wherein the County of Ha11 Nekt'raska, is plaintiff and Bernard F. Jordan and
<br /> Dorothy Jordan, his wi.fe; et a1, are defendants, No. 39, Doc. 1, Page Lt18,
<br /> the plaintiff did on the 3�h day of September, Z9�, obtain a decree finding
<br /> there to be due from the defendants for general and special improvement taxes
<br /> upon a Certificate of Tax Sale and subsequent taxes, in Causes of Action
<br /> No. Three and No. Four, the sum of $31�t•30, accruing interest and costs of �
<br /> tne s�ait, and there is due the cross-petitioners from the defendants the amount
<br /> of $3,736.38 and accruing interest, and whereas, it was then and there further
<br /> ordered in the said action that in default of the payment of the siva so found
<br /> due from the said defendants that the Sheriff of said Coun-ty of Hall should
<br /> cause the lands and tenements hereinafter described to be advertised and sold
<br /> according to law to pay the same, and whereas, default having been made therein,
<br /> the said Sheriff of said County, under and by virtue of the said decree and the
<br /> order of sale to him duly directed, did, on the 13th day of December, 19b�, at
<br /> the north door of the Court House in the City of Grand Island, Nebraska, in said
<br /> County of Hall, having first given due and legal notice of the tims and place
<br /> of said sale for not less than thirty days prior thereto in the Grand Island
<br /> Daily Independent, a legal newsoaper, printed and in general circulation in
<br /> said County of Hall, sell said premises at public auction to Richard B. Lockwood,
<br /> for the sum of One h•andre3 sixty-five and no/100 ($lb5•00) Dollars, (the total
<br /> accrued costs of suit and sale being $ll7.95), �ieh sale was afterwards on the
<br /> 30th day of December, 19�, eXam1ned and confirmed by the said Court and the
<br /> said Sheriff, ordered to convey the said p:emises in fee simple to the said
<br /> Richard B. Lockwood.
<br /> N04d, THEREFORF,, the said Sheriff of the County of Hall, as afo�^esaid, in
<br /> consideration of the premises and by virtue of the powers vested in him b�r law
<br /> and the decree of said Court, does herebjr give, grant, and convey to the said
<br /> Richaxd B. Lockwood, the premises so as aforesaid sold, to-+�r�t: Lo�s One (1)
<br /> and Two (2), in Block Fiae (5), of Gladstone Place, an Addition �o the City of
