<br /> Notice i� hereby given that on Sunday, October 2, 1960, at 11:55 A.M. , there
<br /> will be a special m eeting of the congregation of the First Christian Church,
<br /> Grand Island, Nebraska, for the purpose of authorizing and directing the -
<br /> Trustees of said Church to convey to Safeway Stores, Inc., a Maryland cor-
<br /> poration, for the sum of $12, 500.00, the property owned by the Church, de-
<br /> scribed as Lot 8, Block 113, of Railroad Addition to the Cf#y of Grand Islaad,
<br /> Nebraska, and to authorize and direct the Trustees of the Church to execute
<br /> and deliver a deed in proper form for said premises; and to convey to Deryl
<br /> S. Hillis and Arelene C. Hillis, husband and wife, for the sum of $30, 000.00,
<br /> the property owned by the Church and described as Lot 4 and the west 29 feet
<br /> of Lot 3, of Block 108, Railroad Addition to the City of Grand Island, Hall
<br /> County, Nebraska, and to authorize and direct the Trustees of the Church to
<br /> execute and deliver a deed in proper form for said premises.

<br /> BE IT RESOLVED that the Trustees of the First Christian Church, Grand
<br /> Island, Nebraska, be authorized and directed to execute and deliver a
<br /> warranty deed in proper form to Safewa.y Stores, Inc., a Maryland corporation,
<br /> conveying to them for the sum of $12, 500.00, the real estate owned by the
<br /> Church, described as Lot 8, Block 113, of Railroad Addition to the City of
<br /> Grand Island, Hall County, Nebraska..

<br /> and certifies that she is the duly elected, qualified and acting Clerk and Secretary
<br /> of the First Christian Church, Grand Island, Nebraska, a religious corporation
<br /> organized and existing under the laws of the State of Nebraska,w}th its principal lo�
<br /> cation in the city of Grand Island, Nebraska, having a local edifice as its place of
<br /> gathering and worahip and being a church which is a single church, which is in-
<br /> corporated as an entity, is legally independent of-any superior denominational
<br /> organization or authority as defined in Section 21-834 of the Laws of Nebraska;
<br /> that the foregoing notice was publicly read to the Congregation of the First Christian
<br /> Church, Grand Island, Nebraska, at its church edifice at Third and Eddy 5treets
<br /> in Grand Island, Nebraska, at three regula.r weekly services of said church, being
<br /> September 18, 1960, September 25, 1960, and October 2, 1960; that pursuant to said
<br /> notice and subsequent to the reading of said notice and at the time and place men-
<br /> tioned therein, there was duly held a meetingof the First Christian Church, Grand
<br /> Island, Nebraska, at which meeting the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was
<br /> moved and seconded and that the vote for said motio� and resolution was_�_
<br /> members voting in favor and Q members voting against , and that more than
<br /> 3/5ths of said members present and voting having voted in favor of the motion and
<br /> resolution, the President decla.red the motion and resolution carried and adopted;
