<br /> Notice is hereliy given that on Sunday, March 13 at 11:55 a. m., there
<br /> will be a special meeting of the Congregation of the First Baptist Church
<br /> of Grand Island,, Grand Island, Nebraska for the purpose of authorizing
<br /> and di;recting the trustees of said church to convey to Jack C. Dillon
<br /> and Elizabeth Dillon, for the sum of Nine Thousand Two Hundred Fifty
<br /> Dollars ($9, 250. 00], the property owned by the church located at 504
<br /> West 14th Street, Grand Island, Nebraska, which has been used as a
<br /> parsonage and which is legally described as Lot 10, Block 2, Park Place
<br /> Addition to the City of Grand Island, Hall County, Nebraska, and to
<br /> authorize and direct the trustees of the church to execute and deliver
<br /> . a deed in proper form for said premises; and to further authorize and
<br /> direct the trustees to borrow funds and to execute a note and mortgage
<br /> in such amount as they believe necessary to complete payment for the
<br /> property purchased as a new parsonage, located at 1312 North Huston
<br /> Street, and described as part of Lots 265 and 264 in West Lawn
<br /> Addition to the City of Grand Island, Nebraska.. ,

<br /> BE IT RESOLVED that the trustees of the First Baptist Church of Grand
<br /> Island, Nebraska be authorized and directed to execute and deliver a
<br /> warranty deed in proper form to Jack C. Dillon and Elizabeth Dillon,
<br /> Grand Island,Nebraska, conveying to them, as joint tenants and not as
<br /> tenants in common, with right of survivorship, the real estate owned by
<br /> the church described as Lot 10, Block 2, Park Place Addition to theCity
<br /> of Grand Island, Hall County, Nebraska; and to further authorize and
<br /> direct the trustees to borrow funds and to execute a note and mortgage
<br /> ` in such amount as they believe necessary to complete payment for the

<br /> is the duly elected, qualified and acting Clerk and Secretary of the First Baptist Church
<br /> of Grand Island, Nebraska, a religious corporation organized and existing under the laws
<br /> of Nebraska, with its principal location in the City of Grand Island, Nebraska, having a
<br /> local edifice as its place of gathering and worship, and being a church which is a single
<br /> church, which is incorporated as an entity and is legally independent of any superior de-
<br /> nominational organization or authority as defined in Sec. 21-834{2� of the laws of
<br /> Nebraska; that the foregoing notice was put�cly read to the Congregation of the First
<br /> Baptist Ghurch of Grand Island, Nebraska, in its church edifice at Tentl� and Eddy Streets
<br /> in Grand Island, at three regular weekly services of said church, being February 28, 1960,
<br /> March 6, 1960 and March 13, 1960; that pursuant to said notice and subsequent to the read-
<br /> ing of said notice and at the time and place mentioned therein, there was duly held a meet-
<br /> ing of the First Baptist Church of Grand Island, Nebraska, at which meeting the adoption
<br /> of the foregoing resolution was duly moved and seconded, and that the vote for said motion
<br /> and resolution was 122 members voting in favor and none members voting against, and
<br /> that more than three-fifths of said members present and voting, having voted in favor ofI
<br /> the motion and resolution, the Moderator declared the motion and resolution carried and
<br /> adopted; that on the 14thday of March , 1960, Virgil Peterson, Bradley Woodruff,
<br /> M. E. Olson, Warren Geil, Robert Starr, Robert Chipps, Melvin Sohrweid, Guy Washington
<br /> and Jack Moore were the duly elected, qualified and acting trustees of said First\�.i�,pti,�����
