<br /> THAT, WHEREAS, ;�_p,en action in the District Court of the Eleventh
<br /> Judfcial Diatrict of`the 3tate of Nebraska, within and for the County of
<br /> H�1,1, wherein the Connty Board of Supervisors of Hall County, Nebraska, ex
<br /> a�£icio the. County Board of Public Welfare, is plaintiff and Ben Stewart, et
<br /> als. , are defendanta,' Wo,� 13824, Docket 47, Page 219, the plaintiff did, on
<br /> `!�he 18th day of March, 1960, obtain a decree finding there to be due from the
<br /> `d:efendants for old age assfstance, in Cause of Action No. Five, the sum of
<br /> �5,.912.82, and due the County of Hall, $141.15, accruing interest and costs of
<br /> the suit, and whereas, it was then and there further ordered in the said action
<br /> that in default of the payment of the sum so found due from the said defendants
<br /> that the Sheriff of said County of Hall should cause the lands and tenements
<br /> hereinafter described to be advertised and sold according to law to pay the
<br /> same, and, whereas, default having been made therein, the said Sheriff of said
<br /> County, under and by virtue of the said decree and the order of sale to him
<br /> duly directed, did, a� ttie 2nd day of June, 1960, at the north front door of
<br /> the Court House in the City of Grand Island, in said County of Hall, having
<br /> first given due and legal notice of the time and place of said sale for not less
<br /> than thirty days prior thereto in The Grand Island Daily Independent, a legal
<br /> newspaper, printed and in general circulation in said County of Hall , sell said
<br /> premises at public auction to W. J. Bacon and Mamie Bacon, husband and wife,
<br /> as joint tenants and not as tenants in common, for the sum of T�ao thousand, One
<br /> hundred and no/100 <$2,100.00) Dollars, (the total accrued costs of suit and
<br /> sale being $80.80), whichrsale was afterwards on the 21st day of June, 1960,
<br /> examined and confirmed by the said Court and the said E. H. Stobbe as such
<br /> Sheriff, ordered to convey the said premises in fee simple to the said
<br /> W. J. Bacon and Mamie Bacon, husband and wife, as joint tenants and not as
<br /> tenants in common.
<br /> NOW, THEREFORE, I, the said Sheriff of the County of Hall , as aforesaid,
<br /> in consideration of the premises and by virtue of the powers vested in me by
<br /> law and the decree of said Court, do hereby give, grant, and convey to the said
<br /> W. J. Bacon and Mamie Bacon, husband and wife, as joint tenants and not as
<br /> tenants in common, the premises so as aforesaid sold, to-wit: Lot Six (6) ,
<br /> Block Fourteen (14), Wallich Addition to Grand Island, Hall County, Nebraska,
<br /> as surveyed, platted and recorded,
<br /> with the appurtenances.
<br /> IT B�ING THE INTENTION OF ALL PARTIES HERETO, T'tIAT I\ I�IE EVENT OF THE
<br /> DEATH OF EITHER OF SAID GRANTEES, THE E:ITIRE FEE SIA;PLE TITLE TO Tf�E P.EAL
<br /> ESTAT� DESCRIB�D HEREIN SHALL VEST IN THE SL'RVIVING GP.A�TEE.
<br /> TO HAVE AND TO HOLD TIIE SAME unto the said W. J. Bacon and Mamie Bacon,
<br /> husband and wife, as joint tenants and not as tenants in common, and their
<br /> heirs and assigns forever.
