<br /> Hall (?ounty ,Nebraska on May 27.192P�,insofar as the s ame pertain� to the title of Lot 1,
<br /> Block 15 ,in Ruasell �Pheeler� s Addition to the City of C�rand Island,Nebraska.
<br /> It was moved by Dr.J.G.�Poodin and seaonded that the following reaolution be adopted;
<br /> "NHEREAS,the Sociefy� of the First Regular Baptiat Churoh� of (�rand Island,Nebraska did en
<br /> and prior to t he 3rd day of Apri1,192� own an undivided one-fouxth inte�reat in Lot I ,BloQk
<br /> 15 in Russel 1�Pheelerfs Addition to the City of Grand I$land ,Hall Oount y,Nebraska;and
<br /> iNhereae,another undivided one-fourth interest izn said property was o�ned by the Grand
<br /> Island College; ;�,nd
<br /> �VHEREA�,the remaining undivided one-half interest was about to be dispoeed of at Admin-

<br /> istrator� e sale;and
<br /> �
<br /> �PHEREAS,said property wae sub�ect to the p�rment of delinquent taaea for the years 192�},
<br /> ' 1925 and 1926;and
<br /> WHEREA�,in order to protect the interest whieh this Church owned in sa.id premisea,it
<br /> was deemed advisable by the Board of Trustees to purchase,if poseible,eaid undivided one-
<br /> half interest jointly with said (�rand Island Oollege;and
<br /> �iHEREAS,the said Baa xd of Trustees authorized one Bert Phillips on April 3 ,192� to pur-
<br /> chase the sa�d undivided one-half interest at Administrator� s sale for a priQe not to ea-
<br /> ceed �150�.40 on behalf of said Grand Island 4�ollege and this Church;to which the said Graxd
<br /> jsland College gas agreed and likerrise autnorized the said Bert Phillips;and
<br /> �HEREAS,acting upon said authorize,tion the eaid Bext Phillips did purchase said prer�
<br /> ises at Administrator� s eale for a,nd in behalf of this church and the Grand Island College. .
<br /> NOVP,THEREFORE,BE IT RE30LVED by the Society of the First Regular Baptist Churoh of Grand
<br /> fsland,�ebraska that the aation of said Board of Trustees in authoxi��ng the purohase of
<br /> said property be and the s ame are hereby ratified,approved and confirmed and the purahaet
<br /> by said Bert Phillips of the premisee for the sum of �1325.00 be and the same ie hereby
<br /> ratified,approved and oo nfirmed. "
