<br />9~~~ ~~ALL COUNTY BOARD OF SUPERVISORS MEETING - NOVEMBER 8, 1994

<br />Hall County Board of Supervisors met at 9:00 A.M. from adjourned
<br />session and by published call with Chairman Richard Hartman presiding.
<br />
<br />~
<br />
<br />Present on roll call were Irene Abernethy, Richard Frauen, Richard
<br />Hartman, Margaret Landis, Robert Leslie, Gary Quandt and Tammie Stelk.
<br />
<br />Invocation was given by Rev. Dominic Pecoraro First Church of Nazerene.
<br />
<br />Pledge of Allegiance was given.
<br />
<br />Minutes of November 1st meeting were approved by motion of Frauen,
<br />seconded by Leslie. After corrections were made Abernethy, Frauen,
<br />Hartman, Landis, Leslie, Quandt and Stelk voted yes, none voted no.
<br />
<br />Jerry Janulewicz, Deputy County Attorney, informed the Board members
<br />the changes and additions made in the contract with The Crisis Center.
<br />Stelk made motion, seconded by Frauen to approve the contract and
<br />authorize the Chairman to sign. Abernethy, Frauen, Hartman, Landis,
<br />Leslie, Quandt and Stelk voted yes, none voted no.
<br />
<br />Janulewicz also discussed bidding procedure of property being sold
<br />on tax foreclosure. He recommended to adopt a resolution with a maximum
<br />bid for the lien amount against the property.
<br />
<br />9:25 A.M. - Landis made motion, seconded by Frauen to address bid
<br />strategy. Abernethy, Frauen, Hartman, Landis, Leslie, Quandt and
<br />Stelk voted yes, none voted no.
<br />
<br />9:36 A.M. - Frauen made motion, seconded by Abernethy to return to
<br />regular session. Abernethy, Frauen, Hartman, Landis, Leslie, Quandt
<br />and Stelk voted yes, none voted no.
<br />
<br />Resolution #1598 was approved with a motion by Leslie, seconded by
<br />Stelk. Abernethy, Hartman, Landis, Leslie, Quandt and Stelk voted yes,
<br />Frauen voted no. Motion carried.

<br />A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING BIDDING ON BEHALF OF
<br />THE COUNTY OF HALL, NEBRASKA
<br />
<br />. ~~EAS, the parcels as set forth herein will be sold
<br />at Jud~c~al sales conducted by the Hall county Sheriff on
<br />November 10, 11, and 15, 1994, in satisfaction of the
<br />County' ~ lien upon said parcels for general real estate
<br />taxes, ~nterest, fees, and court costs; and
<br />
<br />WHEREAS, Neb.Rev.Stat. Sec. 23-135 authorizes county
<br />boards to approve the payment for a particular piece of real
<br />property to be sold at auction by adopting a resolution
<br />stating the maximum amount which the county may bid for the
<br />particular piece of property; and
<br />
<br />WHEREAS, the County Board of Hall County has been
<br />requested by its attorneys to adopt such a resolution
<br />concerning the following described properties.
<br />
<br />NOW BE IT RESOLVED that counsel for the County of Hall
<br />Nebraska be hereby appointed and authorized to bid on behalf
<br />of the County of Hall for the purchase of the following
<br />p~rcels of real property in the respective amounts with such
<br />b~ds not to exceed the amounts set forth herein, to wit:
