<br />HALL COUNTY BOARD OF SUPERVISORS MEETING - OCTOBER 25, 1994

<br />The Hall County Board of Supervisors met at 9:00 A.M. from adjourned
<br />l_ session and by published call with Chairman Richard Hartman presiding.
<br />
<br />: Present on roll call were Irene Abernethy, Richard Frauen, Richard
<br />Hartman, Margaret Landis, Robert Leslie and Gary Quandt. Tammie Stelk
<br />was absent.
<br />
<br />Invocation was given by Rev. Scott Jones, Third City Christian Church.
<br />
<br />Pledge of Allegiance was given.
<br />
<br />Minutes of October 18th were accepted as received by motion of Landis,
<br />seconded by Quandt. Abernethy, Frauen, Hartman, Landis, Leslie and
<br />Quandt voted yes, Stelk was absent.
<br />
<br />Deputy County Attorney, Jerry Janulewicz, explained changes made in
<br />the bookmobile agreement. Motion made by Frauen, seconded by Landis to
<br />accept and authorize the Chairman to sign. Abernethy, Frauen, Hartman,
<br />Landis, Leslie and Quandt voted yes, none voted no.
<br />
<br />Gary Bauer with Contractors Machinery INc. introduced himself to the
<br />Board and informed them of the equipment and services that his company
<br />was engaged in and of the recent open house in which Supervisor
<br />Abernethy's name was drawn to have the use of a Case loader that will
<br />be used by the Road Department.
<br />
<br />Don Shuda, Veterans SErvice Officier, asked the Board for approval to
<br />attend the State convention in Omaha the first week in December.
<br />Approval was given.
<br />
<br />Tom Drudik,Extension Officer, informed the Board of an extension
<br />educator now at College Park, which is being funded from a grant and
<br />will be paying for this office space. He also told of various
<br />winter programs being offered and explained the increase in enrollment
<br />this fall session.
<br />
<br />Frauen made motion, seconded by Leslie to adopt three ordinances
<br />for stop signs to be placed at Lepin Road and Monitor Road, Sky Park
<br />Road and One R,RQ~d and Gunnbarrel Road and Bismark Road. Abernethy,
<br />Frau..", Hartma~, Landis, Le13lie and Quandt voted yes, none voted no.

<br />WHEREAS, it has been represented to the County Board of
<br />Supervisors of Hall County, Nebraska, by Daniel J. Hostler,
<br />County Public Works dire~tor that a dangerous traffic
<br />situation exists at the intersection of Le'PimRoad. and Monit01' Road
<br />
<br />, and that it is necessary to erect the stop
<br />sign' at said intersection and,
<br />
<br />WHEREAS, the County Board of Supervisors of Hall County,
<br />deems it necessary in the interest of traffic safety to erect
<br />said stops,i gn, ;

<br />THEREFORE, it is hereby determined and ordered by the
<br />County Board of Supervisors of Hall County, in regular
<br />session, that Dantel J. 'Hostler, P~blic Works Director be,
<br />and the same hereby is authorized and directed to erect a stop
<br />sign: at the intersection of Le'Din Road. and M01'I1 t.nY" R'm1d
