<br />COUNTY BOARD OF SUPERVISORS MEETING, SEPTEMBER 13, 1994

<br />The Hall County Board of Supervisors met at 9:00 A.M. from adjourned
<br />session and by published call with Chairman Richard Hartman presiding.
<br />
<br />~
<br />
<br />Present on roll call were Irene Abernethy, Richard Frauen, Richard
<br />Hartman, Margaret Landis, Robert Leslie, Gary Quandt and Tammie Stelk.
<br />
<br />Invocation was given by Rev. Richard Carohl, Faith United Methodist
<br />minister.
<br />
<br />Pledge of Allegiance was given.
<br />
<br />Minutes of Setpember 6th minutes were accepted by motion of Frauen,
<br />seconded by Stelk. Abernethy, Frauen, Hartman, Landis, Leslie, Quandt
<br />and Stelk voted yes, none voted no.
<br />
<br />Deputy County Attorney Jerry Janulewicz presented a resolution for a
<br />conditional use permit for Werner Construction located in NW * of section
<br />22, township 12 north, range 11 west of the 6th P.M. . made by
<br />Frauen, seconded by Leslie to adopt this resolution #1587. Abernethy,
<br />Frauen, Hartman, Landis, Leslie, Quandt and Stelk vo es, none
<br />voted no.
<br />
<br />Motion made by Frauen, seconded by Quandt to authorize the Chairman to
<br />sign the ce~tificate to the Public Roads Classification and Standards
<br />1'(NBCSmfor!D.~m.~JJ Abernethy, Frauen, Hartman, Landis, Leslie, Quandt and
<br />Sterr voted yes, none voted no.

<br />The Road annual report was reviewed and accepted with a motion made by
<br />Frauen, seconded by Abernethy. Abernethy, Frauen, Hartman, Landis,
<br />Leslie, Quandt and Stelk voted yes, none voted no.
<br />
<br />Motion made by Frauen, seconded by Abernethy to authorize Chairman to
<br />sign letter to the Department of Roads concerning the ihtent to_abandon
<br />portion ofufrontgge road on the south side of the Interstate in Sections
<br />29, 28,21 and 22 in Township 9 North, Range 12 West. Abernethy, Frauen,
<br />Hartman, Landis, leslie, Quandt and Stelk voted yes, none voted no.
<br />
<br />Letter read Trom Roxanne Vipond asking for closing of one mile of road
<br />east of District lR School for the annual St Jude's Bike-A-Thon on
<br />Sunday, October 9th. Motion made by Frauen, seconded by Quandt to
<br />authorize the closing of this road for this event. Abernethy, Frauen,
<br />Hartman, Landis, Leslie, Quandt and Stelk voted yes, none voted no.
<br />
<br />Nelson Helm, Planning Commission Director, presented a final plat for
<br />Alderson Subdivision on the west side of Shady Bend Road immediately
<br />north of Stolley Park Road. Motion to approve this plat was made by
<br />Landis, seconded by Abernethy. Abernethy, Frauen, Hartman, Landis,
<br />Leslie, Quandt and Stelk voted yes, none voted no.

<br />Motion_made by Frauen, secondednby Quandt to set October 4, 1994 at
<br />10 A.M. the time for a public hearing to amend the regulation in the
<br />Hall County Zoning Resolution to comply with LB511 concerning a
<br />factory-built manufactured home. Abernethy, Frauen, Hartman, Landis,
<br />Leslie, Quandt and Stelk voted yes, none voted no.
<br />
<br />Carl Mettenbrink, 2200 E lR Road, discussed with the Board a letter
<br />he had received from the Health Department concerning a lot he owns
<br />that they say needs mowing. Motion made by Landis, seconded by
<br />Quandt to refer this matter to the Chairman to contact the Health Dept.
<br />Abernethy, Frauen, Hartman, Landis, Leslie, Quandt and Stelk voted yes,
<br />none voted no.
<br />
<br />Steve Thuerngale, Fire Marshall, appeared to explain infractions
<br />found within the Social Service building on Pine Street. Rich Stepanek
<br />was in attendance and agreed to work toward correcting this matter.
<br />
<br />Frauen made motion, seconded by Lanids to enter Board of Equalization
<br />at 10:00 A.M. Abernethy, Frauen, Hartman, Landis, Leslie, Quandt and
<br />Stelk voted yes, none voted no.
<br />
<br />11:15 A.M. Quandt made motion to return to regular session, seconded
<br />by Stelk. Abernethy, Frauen, Hartman, Landis, Leslie, Quandt and
<br />Stelk voted yes, none voted no.
