ZoooSllo Discussion was held to include supervisor elect Mr. Neil Eriksen in the executive session. Landis made a motion and Lancaster seconded to include Mr. Eriksen in the executive session. Arnold, Hartman, Humiston, Jeffries, Lancaster, Landis and Logan all voted yes and none voted no. Motion carried. 9:55 a.m. executive session 10:00 a.m. Logan made a motion and Jeffries seconded to go out executive session. Arnold, Hartman, Humiston, Jeffries, Lancaster, Landis and Logan all voted yes and none voted no. Motion carried. COMMENCE THE AUDIT OF THE MONTHLY CLAIMS: The board members reviewed the claims as received. Jeffries made a motion and Logan seconded to approve the claims as audited and authorize the clerk to pay. Arnold, Hartman, Humiston, Jeffris, Lancaster, Landis and Logan all voted yes and none voted no. Motion carried. BOARD ASSISTANT'S REPORT: Board Assistant Stacey Ruzicka reviewed the upcoming meetings and requested that the board members complete performance evaluation and return them to her. BOARD MEMBERS REPORTS: Logan - He attended the long range planning committee meeting and they will have additional information later. Jeffries - He attended the reuse committee meeting, the building and grounds committee meeting and he missed extension office dinner. Lancaster - She attended Stuhr Museum meeting and met the new museum director Mr. Goss. He is excited about Stuhr Museum. She also attended the NACO convention. Arnold - He attended the NACO convention in Omaha and he did not have any meetings last week. He reported that he was contacted by the Governor to serve on the Nebraska Crime Commission and he received the appointment. These duties will start in January. Humiston - He attended the computer committee meeting and the ADA committee meeting and he also attended NACO convention. He also attended the reuse history committee meeting. Landis - She attended the reuse committee meeting. Hartman -He also attended NACO Convention, and the reuse committee meeting. He congratulated Scott Arnold on the appointment to the Nebraska Crime Commission. Supervisor Margaret Landis will be retiring after January 4th and Chairman Hartman thanked Margaret for the many years of service on the county board. He stated that she has done a lot of things for the board and fought some tough battles. He even remembers getting into a battle over Children's Village on one of her first meetings. The board members thank Margaret for her service. There will be a reception for Margaret at 1 :00 p.m. today. Meeting adjourned at 11 :20 a.m. The next meeting will be January 9, 2001 at 9:00 a.m.
