<br />ZoooSllo <br /> <br />Discussion was held to include supervisor elect Mr. Neil Eriksen in the executive <br />session. Landis made a motion and Lancaster seconded to include Mr. Eriksen in the <br />executive session. Arnold, Hartman, Humiston, Jeffries, Lancaster, Landis and Logan <br />all voted yes and none voted no. Motion carried. <br /> <br />9:55 a.m. executive session <br /> <br />10:00 a.m. Logan made a motion and Jeffries seconded to go out executive session. <br />Arnold, Hartman, Humiston, Jeffries, Lancaster, Landis and Logan all voted yes and <br />none voted no. Motion carried. <br /> <br />COMMENCE THE AUDIT OF THE MONTHLY CLAIMS: The board members reviewed <br />the claims as received. Jeffries made a motion and Logan seconded to approve the <br />claims as audited and authorize the clerk to pay. Arnold, Hartman, Humiston, Jeffris, <br />Lancaster, Landis and Logan all voted yes and none voted no. Motion carried. <br /> <br />BOARD ASSISTANT'S REPORT: Board Assistant Stacey Ruzicka reviewed the <br />upcoming meetings and requested that the board members complete performance <br />evaluation and return them to her. <br /> <br />BOARD MEMBERS REPORTS: Logan - He attended the long range planning <br />committee meeting and they will have additional information later. <br /> <br />Jeffries - He attended the reuse committee meeting, the building and grounds committee <br />meeting and he missed extension office dinner. <br /> <br />Lancaster - She attended Stuhr Museum meeting and met the new museum director Mr. <br />Goss. He is excited about Stuhr Museum. She also attended the NACO convention. <br /> <br />Arnold - He attended the NACO convention in Omaha and he did not have any <br />meetings last week. He reported that he was contacted by the Governor to serve on the <br />Nebraska Crime Commission and he received the appointment. These duties will start <br />in January. <br /> <br />Humiston - He attended the computer committee meeting and the ADA committee <br />meeting and he also attended NACO convention. He also attended the reuse history <br />committee meeting. <br /> <br />Landis - She attended the reuse committee meeting. <br /> <br />Hartman -He also attended NACO Convention, and the reuse committee meeting. He <br />congratulated Scott Arnold on the appointment to the Nebraska Crime Commission. <br /> <br />Supervisor Margaret Landis will be retiring after January 4th and Chairman Hartman <br />thanked Margaret for the many years of service on the county board. He stated that she <br />has done a lot of things for the board and fought some tough battles. He even <br />remembers getting into a battle over Children's Village on one of her first meetings. The <br />board members thank Margaret for her service. There will be a reception for Margaret at <br />1 :00 p.m. today. <br /> <br />Meeting adjourned at 11 :20 a.m. The next meeting will be January 9, 2001 at 9:00 a.m. <br />
