Lancaster made a motion and Arnold seconded to approve the purchase of <br />the computer equipment. Arnold, Hartman, Humiston, Jeffries, Lancaster, Landis and <br />Logan all voted yes and none voted no. Motion carried. <br /> <br />9 &10 EXECUTIVE SESSION ON PERSONNEL AND ACTION ON TORT CLAIM FOR <br />JEFFREY WEGNER EXECUTIVE SESSION: Landis made a motion and Jeffries <br />seconded to go into executive session for personnel and discussion on the tort claim. <br />Arnold Hartman, Humiston, Jeffries, Lancaster, Landis and Logan all voted yes and <br />none voted no. Motion carried. <br /> <br />9:56 a.m. executive session <br /> <br />10:10 a.m. Logan made a motion and Humiston seconded to go out of executive <br />session. Arnold Hartman, Humiston, Jeffries, Lancaster, Landis and Logan all voted yes <br />and none voted no. Motion carried. <br /> <br />6 PUBLIC HEARING MFS YORK FOR INDUSTRIAL DEVELOPMENT BONDS: Logan <br />made a motion and Jeffries seconded to open the public hearing for the industrial <br />development bonds. Arnold Hartman, Humiston, Jeffries, Lancaster, Landis and Logan <br />all voted yes and none voted no. Motion carried. <br /> <br />Chairman Hartman called for public participation and Don Nelson with Smith Hayes was <br />present. He stated they had hoped to be back with the final paperwork on these bonds <br />sooner but they have been working on the negotiations. This is one of two bond issues <br />for Global. The bonds in Hall County will be for three million dollars. He stated that <br />some of the work has started on Highway 30. The Waverly, Nebraska plant will be <br />moved to Grand Island and new jobs will be created in Hall County. This is the second <br />phase of the project. There will not be any financial obligation to Hall County. <br /> <br />Jeffries made a motion and Lancaster seconded to close the public hearing. Arnold <br />Hartman, Humiston, Jeffries, Lancaster, Landis and Logan all voted yes and none voted <br />no. Motion carried. <br /> <br />Logan made a motion and Lancaster seconded to approve Resolution #00-0105 <br />authorizing the issuance of the industrial development bonds. Arnold Hartman, <br />Humiston, Jeffries, Lancaster, Landis and Logan all voted yes and none voted no. <br />Motion carried. <br />
