20000427 CO. ATTORNEY A. CONSIDER AND APPROVE RECESSION AGREEMENT WITH CITY OF GRAND ISLAND FOR THE FORMER SOUTHERN PUBLIC POWER DISTRICT BUILDING: County Attorney Jerry Janulewicz provided the board members with copies of the agreement with City and the County to rescind the original agreement to purchase the Southern Nebraska Public Power building. The City has agreed to pay purchase price and interest up to point of negotiations. Logan made a motion and Lancaster seconded to approve the agreement and authorize the Chair to sign. Arnold, Hartman, Humiston, Jeffries, Lancaster, Landis and Logan all voted yes and none voted no. Motion carried. 2b CONSIDER AND APPROVE RESOLUTION ACCEPTING RIGHT-OF-WAY FOR DRAINAGE CHANNELS AT CAAP: County Attorney Jerry Janulewicz stated he has the legal descriptions for the drainage ditches finalized. This will transfer the ownership jointly to Hall County and Central Platte Natural Resources District. There is an interlocal agreement to share the cost of maintaining the drainage channels. Landis made a motion Lancaster to approve Resolution # 00-0089 accepting amendment number 1 to Easement No. DACA 45-2-6022. The county will have equal rights on the ownership. Arnold, Hartman, Humiston, Jeffries, Lancaster, Landis and Logan all voted yes and none voted no. Motion carried. RESOLUTION #00- 0 n 8'q A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING AMENDMENT NO.1 TO EASEMENT NO. DACA45-2-6022 NOW BE IT RESOL YED that the County Board of Hall County accept Amendment No.1 to Easement No. DACA45-2-6022 granting to the County of Hall and to Central Platte Natural Resources District rights-of-way over the drainage channels located on the Cornhusker Army Ammunition Plant. The Chairman is hereby authorized and directed to execute the same in the name and on behalf of the County of Hall.
