<br />. <br /> <br />20000414 <br /> <br />Hall County Board of Supervisors Special Meeting August 29,2000 <br /> <br />The Hall County Board of Supervisors met form adjourned session and by published call <br />in the County Board meeting room, 121 South Pine, Grand Island, Nebraska, August 29, <br />2000 at 9:00 a.m. <br /> <br />The meeting was called to order by Chairman Richard Hartman. <br /> <br />ROLL CALL: Present on roll call were Scott Arnold, Richard Hartman, Bob Humiston, <br />Bud Jeffries, Margaret Landis and Lonnie Logan. Pamela Lancaster was absent <br />attending a Workforce Development meeting. Also present were news media <br />representatives form the Grand Island Independent and KRGI. <br /> <br />APPROVE RESOLUTIONS FOR FINAL ALLOCATION OF LEVY: The resolutions were <br />presented for the tax asking. <br /> <br />Jeffries made a motion and Landis seconded to approve Resolution #00-0081 for Wood <br />River Fire District #2 for the Final Allocation of Levy Authority. Arnold, Hartman, Humiston, <br />Jeffries, Landis and Logan all voted yes and none voted no with Lancaster absent. <br />Motion carried. <br /> <br />APPROVE RESOLUTION FOR FINAL ALLOCATION OF LEVY AUTHORITY: <br />RESOLUTION #00 -0081 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION DETERMINING A FINAL ALLOCATION OF LEVY AUTHORITY FOR THE <br />WOOD RIVER RURAL FIRE DISTRICT #2 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Hall County Board of Supervisors is in receipt of a preliminary <br />request of levy allocation submitted by Wood River Rural Fire District #2, hereinafter <br />referred to as "District," requesting an allocation of levy in th~ amount of General <br />$25,426.00; Sinking $3,105.00 Total $28,531.00 for the fiscal year 2000 - 2001, and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Hall County Board of Supervisors has considered the aforesaid <br />preliminary levy request and determined that a final allocation of levy authority should be <br />made and established for the District. <br /> <br />NOW BE IT RESOLVED, a final allocation of levy authority in the amount of <br />General $25,426.00 and Sinking $3,105.00; Total $28,531.00 is hereby determined, <br />made and established for the District for the fiscal year 2000 - 2001. <br /> <br />IT IS FURTHER RESOLVED; the Hall County Clerk shall forward a copy of the <br />Resolution to the Chairperson of the governing body of the District. <br /> <br />PASSED AND ADOPTED THIS _29 <br /> <br />DAY OF _August <br /> <br />2000 <br /> <br />Resolution moved by Supervisor _Bud Jeffries <br /> <br />Seconded by Supervisor _Margaret Landis <br />VOTE: <br />Scott Arnold <br />Richard Hartman <br />Bob Humiston <br /> <br />For-X-; Against_; Abstained_; Not present_, <br />Forx-; Against_; Abstained_; Not Present_, <br />For....x-; Against_; Abstained_; Not present_. <br />
