. 20000414 Hall County Board of Supervisors Special Meeting August 29,2000 The Hall County Board of Supervisors met form adjourned session and by published call in the County Board meeting room, 121 South Pine, Grand Island, Nebraska, August 29, 2000 at 9:00 a.m. The meeting was called to order by Chairman Richard Hartman. ROLL CALL: Present on roll call were Scott Arnold, Richard Hartman, Bob Humiston, Bud Jeffries, Margaret Landis and Lonnie Logan. Pamela Lancaster was absent attending a Workforce Development meeting. Also present were news media representatives form the Grand Island Independent and KRGI. APPROVE RESOLUTIONS FOR FINAL ALLOCATION OF LEVY: The resolutions were presented for the tax asking. Jeffries made a motion and Landis seconded to approve Resolution #00-0081 for Wood River Fire District #2 for the Final Allocation of Levy Authority. Arnold, Hartman, Humiston, Jeffries, Landis and Logan all voted yes and none voted no with Lancaster absent. Motion carried. APPROVE RESOLUTION FOR FINAL ALLOCATION OF LEVY AUTHORITY: RESOLUTION #00 -0081 A RESOLUTION DETERMINING A FINAL ALLOCATION OF LEVY AUTHORITY FOR THE WOOD RIVER RURAL FIRE DISTRICT #2 WHEREAS, the Hall County Board of Supervisors is in receipt of a preliminary request of levy allocation submitted by Wood River Rural Fire District #2, hereinafter referred to as "District," requesting an allocation of levy in th~ amount of General $25,426.00; Sinking $3,105.00 Total $28,531.00 for the fiscal year 2000 - 2001, and WHEREAS, the Hall County Board of Supervisors has considered the aforesaid preliminary levy request and determined that a final allocation of levy authority should be made and established for the District. NOW BE IT RESOLVED, a final allocation of levy authority in the amount of General $25,426.00 and Sinking $3,105.00; Total $28,531.00 is hereby determined, made and established for the District for the fiscal year 2000 - 2001. IT IS FURTHER RESOLVED; the Hall County Clerk shall forward a copy of the Resolution to the Chairperson of the governing body of the District.
