(No deletions are proposed for these <br />changes. ) <br /> <br />Home Occupation Use - A business, occupation or profession, induding room and board <br />(maximum of t'MJ persons) and child care, carried on w;thin a residential dY.elling and/or the <br />associated accessory buildings thereof, wherein the use of the residential dY.elling unit <br />and/or the accessory buildings for the home occupation use shall be dearly incidental and <br />subordinate to its use for residential purposes by the occupants. The following oper2tion <br />characteristics and requirements must also be satisfied in order to qualify as a home <br />occupation use: <br /> <br />a) <br /> <br />There shall be no change to the external appearance and residential character of <br />the land or buildings involved (all aspect of the use, including storage, must be <br />confined within the principal residence or accessory buildings); <br /> <br />b) <br /> <br />No equipment or processing shall be allowed that creates visual or audible <br />interference in any radio or television receivers off the premises (induding line <br />voltage fluctuations); or, creates obtrusive noise, vibration, heat, glare, fumes, dust. <br />odors, emissions or electrical interference detectable to the normal senses off the <br />premises; <br /> <br />c) <br /> <br />Does not involve more than 35% of the total floor area of the residence and 50% of <br />the combined floor area of any attached or detached accessory buildings; The <br />Hcme;occu'oatJOOUStrmaYocalrW~:80~Ofth~DfRe(f~rear6i'jM <br />attached~Of'detaChed.acce5sof"lbuiJdirias"nrit foT~aooo'SQ~Teer'o~ <br />condftionar: aSefcermit aorirovaf baSis; <br /> <br />d) <br /> <br />Does not require an identification sign other than one non-illuminated, flat mount or <br />freestanding sign. not exceeding thirty-t'No (32) square feet in area. <br /> <br />e) <br /> <br />Non-resident employees shall only be permitted on a conditional use permit <br />approval basis. <br /> <br />f} <br /> <br />The home occupation activity shall not involve dangerous, toxic or hazardous <br />chemicals or products on site, which require specialized handling, licensing and/or <br />disposal in accordance with State or Federal regulations. <br /> <br />SECTION 5. SCHEDULE OF DISTRICT REGULATIONS <br /> <br />1. AG-1 AClricultural - Intent of this district use is to preserve lands best suited for <br />agricultural uses of all types including feed lots and the commercial feeding of livestock and <br />accesSOrj uses; to prevent encroachment of uses of land that could be mutually incompatible and <br />continue to provide for agricultural uses as a major asset to the economy of the area. <br /> <br />(c) PERMmED CONDITIONAL USES: <br /> <br />. Feedlots and the commercial feeding of livestock involving more than 3,000 <br />swine and/or more than 600 sows. (Res. 98-0069) <br />. Cemeteries. crematories, mausoleums and columbariums. <br />. Educational services. <br />. Utility substations, filter beds, refuse dumps, sewage treatment and water <br />supply plants. <br /> <br />Attachment A <br />
