Arnold, <br />Hartman, Humiston, Lancaster, Landis and Logan all voted yes and none voted no with <br />Jeffries absent. Motion carried. <br /> <br />Logan made a motion and Lancaster seconded to approve the request for the <br />conditional use permit and to make the changes. Motion carried. <br /> <br />10:35 a.m. held a Board of Equalization meeting. <br /> <br />BOARD ASSISTANT'S REPORT: Stacey Ruzicka stated that the ADA committee will <br />meet today. She also reminded the board members that they will need to advertise and <br />appoint some one for the position of County Surveyor. She requested that the <br />evaluation forms be returned by July 5th. She also received a letter from an individual <br />that wanted to sell to the county an old envelope. The board stated to refer this to the <br />Hall County Historical Society of Stuhr Museum. <br /> <br />BOARD MEMBERS REPORTS: Logan he attended the human relations meeting and in <br />July they will come back with a recommendation on a policy. The long-range planning <br />committee is going forward. Budget time and meetings have started. <br /> <br />Lancaster - They have been working on the requests from Kansas City for Head Start <br />and the computer committee has an internet policy that the county officials will have to <br />sign off on. They have reviewed the usage of the dollars in the equipment and reserve <br />fund and they are to be spent on a specific plan. <br /> <br />Arnold - He attended the Head Start meetings and the computer committee meeting. <br /> <br />Humiston - He attend the computer committee meeting and he toured the Hall County <br />Regional Airport and reported that they have a lot of projects going on. <br /> <br />Landis - She attended the public works committee meeting and remarked on the <br />amount of money that was spend from the inheritance fund this month. <br /> <br />Hartman - He stated that the meetings he had attended had been reported on. <br /> <br />UNFINISHED BUSINESS - Building and Grounds Director Chuck Kaufman requested <br />that the County Board give him some direction on the carpet replacement process. He <br />needs to have the installation of the carpet approved before another room is started. <br />The board stated that he could have a member of the building and grounds committee <br />do the inspection. <br /> <br />NEW BUSINESS - None <br /> <br />Meeting adjourned at 11 :00 a.m. <br />I <br /> <br />
