Lancaster made a motion and Arnold <br />seconded to support creating the interlocal agreement with Howard County for juvenile <br />diversion services. Karen Noakes and Jerry Janulewicz will draft the agreement. <br />Arnold, Hartman, Humiston, Jeffries, Lancaster, Landis and Logan all voted yes and <br />none voted no. Motion carried. <br /> <br />2a. APPROVE RESOLUTION TO VACATE A PORTION OF 60TH ROAD: The public <br />hearing was held on this matter May 23. The township does not have any officials so <br />the road could not be offered to the township. The resolution will vacate this portion of <br />the road. Jeffries made a motion and Lancaster seconded to approve Resolution <br />#00-0054 To vacate the south one thousand (1000) feet of 60th Road north of the north <br />channel of the Platte River within Hall County. Arnold, Hartman, Humiston, Jeffries, <br />Lancaster, Landis and Logan all voted yes and none voted no. Motion carried. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #00- 0054 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION VACATING THE SOUTH ONE THOUSAND (1000) FEET OF 60TH <br />ROAD NORTH OF THE NORTH CHANNEL OF THE PLATTE RIVER WITIDN HALL <br />COUNTY, NEBRASKA <br /> <br />WHEREAS, A petition requesting the closing of the South One Thousand (1000) Feet of <br />60th Road North of the North Channel of the Platte River was filed with the Hall County Clerk on <br />March 14,2000; and <br />WHEREAS, The Hall County Board of Supervisors, pursuant to Neb.Rev.Stat. ~39-l722 <br />directed the Hall County Public Works Director to study the use being made of such public road <br />and to submit in writing to the county board within thirty days, a report upon the study made and <br />his recommendation as to the vacation or abandonment thereof.; and <br />WHEREAS, On April 11, 2000, the Hall County Board of Supervisors received the <br />report of the study made and recommendations as to the vacation or abandonment of the South <br />One Thousand (1000) Feet of 60th Road; and <br />WHEREAS, Neb.Rev.Stat. ~39-1724 requires that upon receipt of such a report the <br />county board shall adopt a resolution fixing the time, date, and place for public hearing and <br />provide notice thereof by publication and by registered or certified mail upon the owners of land <br />abutting on or adjacent to the road to be vacated or abandoned by mailing the same to the last- <br />known address of each owner not less than two weeks in advance of the hearing; and <br />WHEREAS, on May 23,2000 at a regular meeting of the Hall County Board of <br />Supervisors a public hearing was on the proposed vacation or abandonment of the above- <br />mentioned segment of a public road. <br />NOW BE IT RESOLVED as follows: <br />
