SPILLMAN CAD SOF1WARE 2. <br />APPROVE ABACUS AND SPILLMAN CAD SOF1WARE TRAINING AND DISCUSS <br />AND 3 APPROVE SPILLMAN TERMINAL EMULATION SOF1WARE: Dave Arnold <br />computer administrator and Wil Bennett computer technician requested approve of the <br />training for $4,250.00 and the purchase of the CAD software. Stelk made a motion and <br />Lancaster seconded to approve the training and purchase of CAD software and the <br />emulation card for $17685.00. Arnold, Hartman Jeffries, Lancaster, Landis, Logan and <br />Stelk all voted yes and none voted no. Motion carried. <br /> <br />Arnold and Bennett also requested approval to purchase the following out of the 1999- <br />2000 budget: <br />· The CD tower for the law research program on the county network for $5,000.00 <br />. The fiber optic link for $10,000.00 <br />· W server cabinets and punch down panels at $3,000.00 each <br />· Equipment for the administration building and the attorney's office for $6,000.00 <br />. Memory upgrades for $2,600.00 <br />· Modems to the IBM servers for $1,100.00 <br />· Line scan interface for $5,000.00 <br />· Equipment for the GIS system to be installed upstairs for $5,000.00 <br />· Additional servers for $15,000.00 <br />· 2 projector units for $4,500.00 <br />· 100 user licenses for $6,200.00 <br />Landis made a motion and Lancaster seconded to approve the purchases. Arnold, <br />Hartman, Jeffries, Lancaster, Landis, Logan and Stelk all voted yes and none voted no. <br />Motion carried. <br /> <br />2d DXECUTIVE SESSION TO DISUCSS STRATEGY REGARDING IMMINENT <br />LITIGATION: Jeffries made a motion and Lancaster seconded to go into executive <br />session. Arnold, Hartman, Jeffries, Lancaster, Landis, Logan and Stelk all voted yes and <br />none voted no. Motion carried. <br /> <br />9 PARK DEPARTMENT COMMITTEE RECOMMENDATION ON PURCHASE OF <br />LAWN MOWER AND PLAYGROUND EQUIPMENT: Discussion was held on the <br />purchases and the committee recommended to purchase the Grasshopper lawn mover <br />and to purchase the modular playsystem for $7454.61 to be purchased from the special <br />revenue fund Jeffries made a motion and Logan seconded to approve the purchase of <br />
