<br />00000256 <br /> <br />17.DISCUSS AND APPROVE INTERNET & E-MAIL POLICY: This policy will <br />address the use of the internet and E-mail that will be available to the county. <br />The computer committee stated that was imperative that this policy be adopted <br />before the county has use of internet or E-mail. The committee has reviewed this <br />policy. Arnold made a motion and Jeffries seconded to adopt the policy <br />regarding the internet and E-mail use. Arnold, Hartman, Jeffries, Lancaster, <br />Landis, Logan and Stelk all voted yes and none voted no. Motion carried. <br /> <br />19.CO. TREASURER DORIS MASON INSTALLATION OF AN ATM MACHINE <br />IN THE CO. ADMINISTRATION BUILDING: County Treasurer Doris Mason <br />stated that she has had several requests for an A TM machine and Mr. Orv <br />Qualsett with Home Federal contacted her stating that he would be willing to put <br />a small machine in the Administration Building. Deputy County Attorney Jerry <br />Janulewicz suggested that the county request proposals from several business <br />and then make a decision. Jeffries made a motion and Logan seconded to <br />advertise for proposals for an A TM machine. Arnold, Hartman, Jeffries, <br />Lancaster, Landis, Logan and Stelk all voted yes and none voted no. Motion <br />carried. <br /> <br />18.ACCEPT RESIGNATION AND PLACE ON FILE: Supervisor Tammie Stelk <br />read her letter informing the board of her resignation effective June 1, 2000. She <br />stated she will be getting married and moving to Australia. She stated is has <br />been an honor serving as supervisor for the 6th district and thanked the <br />community, elected and appointed officials, employees and her family for their <br />support. She extended her good wished to everyone. Chairman Hartman <br />thanked Tammie for her work and wished her well the board gave her a standing <br />ovation. <br /> <br />County Treasurer Doris Mason requested the board's input on installation of a <br />payment drop box in the Administration Building. Landis stated that the safety <br />committee did not recommend that a drop box be installed in the building. <br /> <br />Board Assistant Stacey Ruzicka reminded the election committee of the early <br />ballot pickup. <br /> <br />BOARD MEMBER'S REPORTS: Arnold - He attended the computer committee <br />meetings. <br /> <br />Lanids - She stated that there will need to be a Reuse committee meeting before <br />the land is sold in September. <br /> <br />Lancaster - She stated that most of the meetings she attended were covered in <br />the board meeting. She announced that a farewell coffee will be held for Tammie <br />Stelk May 25. <br /> <br />Logan -He reminded the board that a work-study session should be scheduled <br />for June to address the 2001 residential development areas. An item concerning <br />land east of the county park was referred to the park committee. <br />
