CONSIDER & TAKE ACTION ON REQUEST OF DARWIN KATZBERG TO <br />DERTERMINE THE STATUS OF WILDWOOD DRIVE: Attorney Keith Sinor and <br />Mr. Darwin Katzberg were present to discuss the matter of Wildwood Drive from <br />the April 25 meeting. At that time is was referred to the public works committee. <br />The committee met and discussed the situation. Mr. Sinor stated that when the <br />committee met he could not attend. Mr. Sinor explained that they are addressing <br />1000 feet of the road and would like it established as a public road so the <br />property can be subdivided. They only are requesting a two-rod road for the <br />1000 feet. The county board is the one that will determine the size of the road. <br />Stelk made a motion and Lancaster seconded to refer this to the public works <br />committee and notify Mr. Sinor and Mr. Katzberg of the meeting so they can <br />attend. Arnold, Hartman, Jeffries, Lancaster, Landis, Logan and Stelk all voted <br />yes and none voted no. Motion carried. <br /> <br />2d. CONSIDER AND TAKE ACTION REGARDING THE DRAINAGE REQUEST <br />OF JAMES MALONEY: The public works committee met to consider this matter. <br />It has been a long standing drainage problem and Public Works Director Dan <br />Hostler requested Olsson Associates to do a hydraulic analysis of the culvert and <br />drainage-ways in this area. After reviewing the study from Olsson Associates the <br />public works committee recommends to do the following: <br />1. Clean out the improved channel to its original cross-sectional area which <br />included the north and south side of Holling Road <br />2. Provide a 24" culvert in the south road ditch of Holling Road and clean out the <br />South road ditch to allow the 19cfs flow onto the east <br />They could also file a petition to create a drainage system. Jeffries made a <br />motion and Stelk seconded to accept the public works committee <br />recommendation and proceed with the installation of the culvert. Arnold, Jeffries, <br />Lancaster, Landis, Logan and Stelk all voted yes and Hartman voted no. Motion <br />carried. <br /> <br />5. PUBLIC WORKS 10:00 A.M. BID OPENING FORKLIFT: Logan made a <br />motion and Jeffries seconded to open the bids for the forklift for the public works <br />department. Arnold, Hartman, Jeffries, Lancaster, Landis, Logan and Stelk all <br />voted yes and none voted no. Arnold, <br />Hartman, Jeffries, Lancaster, Landis, Logan and Stelk all voted yes and none <br />voted no. Motion carried. <br />
