<br />('20000060 <br /> <br />lb. SUSAN STUCKERT HHS - TO DISCUSS SAFETY CONCERNS: Ms. Stuckert <br />requested to speak to the county board concerning some safety issues. In the last two <br />months the staffhas received serious threats two at the Pine Street location and two at the <br />annex building at First and Locust Streets. The department is accustomed to working <br />with angry and upset clients so they are not overacting to these situations. A <br />representative from the Lincoln HHS office has visited the Grand Island offices on two <br />separate occasions to address the safety needs of the buildings. They have looked at <br />workshops for the employees to address protecting them, installing buzzers at the front <br />desk to alert the department of a possible problem and installing security doors. <br />Chairman Hartman suggested that Ms. Stuckert work with Chuck Kaufman Building & <br />Grounds Director to look at the installation of security doors. <br /> <br />11. EXECUTIVE SESSION PERSONNEL: Arnold made a motion and Lancaster <br />seconded to go into executive session. Arnold, Hartman, Lancaster, Landis, Logan and <br />Stelk all voted yes and none voted no with Jeffries absent. Motion carried. <br /> <br />9:25 a.m. executive session <br /> <br />10:05 a.m. Logan made a motion and Stelk seconded to go out of executive session. . <br />Arnold, Hartman, Lancaster, Landis, Logan and Stelk all voted yes and none voted no <br />with Jeffries absent. Motion carried. <br /> <br />Stelk made a motion and Lancaster seconded to approve by consent agenda the <br />following: <br />1. approve claim #00020001 <br />2. approve the final plat for Apple E Subdivision and Opp Subdivision <br />3. accept and place on file the office reports for the County Sheriff, County <br />Court, County Clerk and Emergency Management <br />4. accept and place on file the Hall County Treasurer's Miscellaneous Receipts <br />5. accept and place on file communications <br />Arnold, Hartman, Lancaster, Landis, Logan and Stelk all voted yes and none voted no <br />with Jeffries absent.
