<br />F20000082 <br /> <br />11: 11 a.m. Lancaster made a motion and Stelk seconded to go into a board of corrections <br />meeting. Arnold, Hartman, Lancaster, Logan and Stelk all voted yes and none voted no. <br />Jeffries was absent. Motion carried. <br /> <br />12:00 p.m. returned to regular session <br /> <br />VETERANS SERVICE OFFICE DON SHUDA SHERMAN COUNTY CONTRACT: <br />Don Shuda presented this interlocal agreement to the Sherman County Board and they <br />approved it as submitted. Landis made a motion and Logan seconded to approve the <br />interlocal agreement with Sherman County for veteran services. Arnold, Hartman, <br />Lancaster, Logan and Stelk all voted yes and none voted no.. Landis abstained and <br />Jeffries was absent. Motion carried. <br /> <br />BOARD MEMBER'S REPORTS: Logan - No report <br /> <br />Stelk - She attended the extension board meeting, two computer committee meetings, the <br />library board meeting and the health board meeting. She reported that at the library board <br />meeting she received information on the new home-bound library delivery service. In the <br />event of an illness or if some one is home-bound there is an application they can submit <br />for delivery of books. <br /> <br />Arnold - He attended a computer committee meeting and the FEMA board meeting. He <br />reported that FEMA is accepting applications for funding and requested the county <br />boards approval to have the applications mailed to the board assistant's office. Any <br />postage or copy fees will be paid for. This was approved. <br /> <br />Landis - She attended the ag-Iand board meeting. She addressed a letter from the State <br />Department of Motor Vehic1es requesting a contact person for some updates that they <br />will be doing. Landis suggested that Stacey Ruzicka be the contact person. <br /> <br />Lancaster - She attended two computer meetings and a HeadStart meeting. She reported <br />that she attended the workforce development meeting and they are working on a one-stop <br />employment information site. She will be attending the NACO county board workshop <br />in Kearney this week. <br /> <br />Hartman - He attended a weed board meeting and there will be a change on the part-time <br />help. <br /> <br />BOARD ASSISTANT'S REPORT: Stacey Ruzicka stated that she will be attending the <br />NIRMA conference in Kearney on Wednesday and reminded the board members of the <br />Central District meeting that will be held March 16 in Ord, Nebraska. She also reported <br />that safety training sessions were held for all the employees. <br />
