A RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING HANDICAPPED PARKING STALLS FOR COUNTY OWNED PARKING AREAS WHEREAS, the County of Hall is the owner of the parking areas located at the following locations: 1. Hall County Administration Building, 121 South Pine Street, Grand Island; 2. Hall County Health Department, 119 East First Street, Grand Island; 3. Hall County Office Building, 117 East First Street, Grand Island; 4. Hall County Court House, First and Locust Streets, Grand Island; 5. Pine Street Parking Lot, 110 Block South Pine Street, Grand Island; 6. Hall County Park, 313 8 West Schimmer Drive, Grand Island; 7. Hall County Weed Control, 2807 West Second Street, Grand Island; and 8. Hall County Public Works, 2900 West Second Street, Grand Island; and WHEREAS, the Hall County Board of Supervisors desires to designate in the aforesaid parking areas parking stalls and spaces restricted to the exclusive use of handicapped or disabled persons whose motor vehicles display the distinguishing license plates issued to such individuals pursuant to Nebraska Revised Statute section 60-311.14, such other handicapped or disabled persons or temporarily handicapped or disabled persons, as certified by the city or village, whose motor vehicles display the permit specified in Nebraska Revised Statute section 18-1739, and such other motor vehicles, as certified by the city or village, which display such permit. NOW BE IT RESOLVED as follows: 1. ADA Parking Plans 99-1,99-2; 99-3; 99-4; 99-5; 99-6; 99-7; and 99-8, which are attached hereto and incorporated herein by this reference, are hereby approved. The parking stalls and spaces depicted therein are hereby restricted to the exclusive use of handicapped or disabled persons whose motor vehicles display the distinguishing license plates issued to such individuals pursuant to Nebraska Revised Statute section 60-311.14, such other handicapped or disabled persons or temporarily handicapped or disabled persons, as certified by the city or village, whose motor vehicles display the permit specified in Nebraska Revised Statute section 18-1739, and such other motor vehicles, as certified by a city or village, which display such permit. Between the hours of 8:00 A.M. and 4:00 P.M. Monday through Friday, no vehicle shall be parked in excess of two (2) hours within any such designated parking stall. 2. The Hall County Building and Grounds shall post aboveground and immediately adjacent to and visible from each stall or space a sign which is in conformance with the Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices adopted pursuant to Nebraska Revised Statutes section 60- 6,118 notifying of said designation. Said po stings shall clearly and conspicuously state the areas so designated as tow-in zone and that vehicles parked in violation shall be subject to removal as provided by Nebraska Revised Statutes sections 18-1736 through 1742.
